It kept cutting out and had to take it back. When it finally connected the speeds were ok if it stayed connected that was the main issue

Absolutely love these Nighthawk products. You get what you pay for with these types of purchases and these are worth the money.

I got this Night Hawk Reuter from Best Buy.I was losiing the Internet daily,with the Optimum Supplied Reuter.Yjat's why I replaced it.In the three weeks that I have had the new reuter,I kost the Internet three times.I unplugged the new reuter,then plugged it back in.Should this have happened?I didn't want to try and bring back the new reuter,becauseit is such a hassle registering another new with a pass word,and other items.I had to have help with the new Night Hawk that I had.I'm told it's top of the line?What should I do or can do with Best Buy's return policy>I don't think it's the reuter 's fault when I lost the Internet/I just hate when it happens.My provide is Optium.I want to purchase a modem from Best buy,but am a little worried?

Do not buy this if you are planning on using your ps5 with this extender. It will NOT work. Ever since purchased, I had been stuggling for weeks trying different things, including setting it up several times from the beginning. Every device connects to the extender and it works great, excpet for the ps5. So if I or my nephews wanted to play online, we would have to disconnect the extender, which would leave some without wifi. Customer service was actually great the third time around. Its best to call them instead of chatting. We went through all the troubleshooting options, but nothing. It ended up with a compatibility issue with the ps5. Anyway, what I ended up doing was simply going to extenders menu, and just blocking the ps5 from connecting to the extender, so this it way it would be forced to connect to our main router. I literally just thought of soing this, 3 months in. Tech support didnt even think of that silly simple option. Ps5 is not online and i dont have to unplug my extender to use it. Anyway, if you buy it and do have a ps5, this might have to be the only option available. I dont want to call Playstation and spend time with this. Last call with tech support was 50 minutes.

Great extender. Was really easy to set up. I was having bad coverage in the rear of the house. Now I get full strength and I am now able to max out my internet service speed. App is also very clean and easy to use. I definitely recommend this extender.

This unit works great as either an extender or an access point. It supports both 2.4ghz and 5ghz on both the front side and the backhaul side, and has really good range. It costs more than many extenders, but it's much less expensive than a full mesh system and works with my existing router.

I was not getting a strong wifi signal from my router at my TV. The Netgear Extender has resolved the poor signal strength at the TV

I was not totally happy with the wi-fi extender. It had trouble supplying the necessary output in the dead spots I was looking to increase coverage for. It did increase in other areas but still not what I needed overall.

My house is an L-shaped rancher. FIOS line enters near the end of one leg of the L, hence the WIFI Router is located there. WIFI performance was weak and spotty at the other end of the house. Placed at the mid-point between the two sections of the house, this repeater allows all of our WIFI devices to work optimally throughout the entire house.

Good equipment to extend the wifi range connects to any wifi modem you can customize it or just to apply your wifi range the negative is that the configuration is a bit slow and you have to follow the steps to the letter or start all the steps again After it is configured, the record is not deleted until you do a reset.

These provide excellent coverage in larger homes. I use these to provide extended cable hookups in my three level home. Such an added plus. Cuts down on a lot of the wireless drama (Unhealthy Signal Flooding) in the home. I suggest that you make every effort to keep product line pure as in all NetGear as it keeps installation virtually stupid simple.

Not too bad definetly works via lan but still had low latency via wireless but other than that its easy to use and set up

We purchased this to extend our WiFi to dead spots in our 2 story home. Initially tried to use the nighthawk app to setup but got caught up in the app as we had another plug n play extender. Ended up removing the other extender and just using the WPS button to connect to router. Now we have full bar WiFi access to every nook and cranny in our home.

Bought this for my parents house. The router given by their provider was terrible at spreading the wifi through this house. With the router in the basement, I put this on the first floor. The whole house was able to get strong signal.

The wifi extender works as described. The steps to set up are easy and not many. It seems the app is a headache. After several attempts i wasnt able to use app, but was able to connect extender.

This Netgear range extender works perfectly with my Verizon Mi-Fi i have had other range extenders in the past and they would constantly loose contact with the Mi-Fi (6" away) this has never lost the signal even when it was at a very weak signal. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
