Great Extender

Don't waste your time

It merges with my SSID, but then has no internet access. After 3 hours of research, I opened a case with Netgear. After another hour on the phone with support, they said the extender was bad and to exchange it. The second one won't connect to the internet either. One would think that a Netgear WiFi 6 extender would easily connect to a Netgear WiFi 6 router. I'll stick with using an old router as an access point with a different SSID. I've always used Netgear products, but may look at other brands now.

Works with AD7200 (R9000 & R8900) router perfectly

I can walk from one end of the house to the next and it auto switches between router and extender on the same SSID. I feel like the range on this extender is better than on my router, but I haven't measured. Works in the Nighthawk app. I have it sitting behind my TV and it reaches the rooms on the other side of the house.

I magically lost the ability to catch the wifi signal one day and thought I would try the EAX20. I was skeptical but to my delight it works fantastic! Also improved all our security cam connections outside the house which was a bonus!
