    Bought this for wife and daughters all doing distance learning, had good speed at base unit but the satellite had pretty poor performance and since it was past the 90 day technical support would have to pay to speak to someone.

    A very cost effective solution to increasing WiFi coverage. Somewhat quirky to set up using the Blackhawk app but has worked flawlessly.

    Cons first because its awful - This extender is a dumpster fire on a train wreck. I cannot even begin to describe what an utter piece of garbage this is. Constantly disconnects devices for 0 reason within less than 10 feet, it doesn't communicate correctly with the router (a Netgear Nighthawk Router no less), refuses to allow DHCP to distribute IP addresses, BUT will allow the device to connect to the "network" which by the way no it really doesn't. It literally broadcasts "shadow" networks that only interferes with your actual network being broadcast, there is no mesh, just mess. Pros - looks nice, it turned on and the lights came on. If it was clock it'd be perfect.

    It was good but the instructions are useless! If you don’t have someone with IT knowledge, good luck setting it up.
