This replaced an old wireless-N range extender... installation was quick and it worked properly... my download speed went from 44.5 MBPS on the old unit to over 500 MBPS with this new Netgear unit... I am very pleased with the performance.

I have two of these setup in my house. My home-office is in the back of my garage space, well away from my cable modem. Without this device, my speeds are super slow, with it, I have perfect speeds to do all my work.

The way my house is set up my router has to be used in a bedroom away from my living room. The walls are concrete so it's really hard to get signal into my actual living room. I bought this extender hoping it would help, and it did. It didn't give me as much MBPS that I was hoping, but it gave me almost half of the original so I'm very satisfied. I'd recommend this to anyone who lives in a concrete house.

Eventually this extender settled down & connections stabilised. Had to completely reset it to stop the 5G from stopping every 24 hours as it wouldn’t recognise a channel change (which is the recommended fix per Netgear! App set up didn’t work so did it using a browser which worked fine. Extra coverage is great so we can now stream in 5G inside and out.

set up was fast and easy its been a few weeks and its been working without any problems the app is also very helpful all in all im happy with it... thank you

The original wi-fi router is located in a basement office. The signal was not sufficient to reach the far end of the house. Adding the EAX20 has improved reception throughout the house and around the yard. The instructions specify the choice location for optimal performance. Installation requires an app downloadable only to a smart phone. Once installed, the setup was automatic and completed within 10 minutes. Yes, the box is rather large and the status lights are bright.

Intuitive and easy setup, user friendly, does its job! Wasn’t exactly what I was looking for in the end, but not because of any reason related to the product’s performance itself. Would recommend.

Good product, Easy to set up but lacks power. Idefinitely recommend getting a mesh system instead.

Working well so far, get excellent signal in places I would only get fair signal, and it was easy to setup

good extender easy setup using the netgear app. I was able to link it to my wifi router and extend my wifi to my outbuilding. No issues so far

IF you're like me, you prob had a cheap extender and you recently upgraded to WIFI 6. If you were having unstable connection from your extender and your router is working fine. Well you were in the same predicament as me. And this router solved all my issues and actually is pretty dang good. use it for oculus link and its amazing. Please do upgrade if you upgraded to Wifi 6. It'll solve all of your issues

Extended wifi to our shop building from the house. Super ez hookup. Works without problems and delivers good signal.

Setup was simple. Coverage is amazing. Device performance speed noticeable immediately.

I bought a Netgear router to replace an outdated router we had, since we upgraded our internet. Unfortunately where we live in the country, Spectrum is the only option. The internet was intermittent and slow but after the easy install of my Netgear, my internet speeds are significantly faster and more consistent. I recently purchased a Netgear extender to ensure consistent speed throughout the home as well as additional range for my exterior WIFI security cameras. I have great speeds throughout the entire house, the basement and outside! Highly recommend!

Boosted speeds on downloads from 16 to 24 on my new Latitude laptop, 18 to 25 on my HP laptop, and 20 to 28 on my Dell desktop. I would have expected better. This is vs. my 6 year old Netgear AC1900 Range Extender. Presumably I could do better by updating my firmware, don't I don't have that capability.

I ordered the Netgear EAX20 to extend my WiFi signal……I have a 8 port network switch of which I didn’t want to run rj45 cable up the wall to my router…instead I connected everything to my Netgear WI-FI 6 extender……Now my five systems has a smooth and fast WI-FI signal…. Thank you Netgear.

I have a 4200 square foot house and about 30 products connected to my router which is the best Netgear router they offer. I also buy the 400gb plan from Spectrum yet parts of the house I could not get any wifi. Netgear recommended this product and there is a better one but this one was recommended. It does work so I am getting wifi in places I didn't, it unfortunately is very slow. It took about 30 minutes to set up, not because it was hard, but because you have to find the right spot in your house. Which of course is now an eye sore that my wife hates, but it was the best spot I could find.
