Needed to purchase a router/modem because we decided to cancel Spectrum cable tv but keep their internet. Bought this one based on other reviews, went home and set it up. I did need to call spectrum to connect it with them, and that was fairly easy too. The speed is faster on this router/modem than what Spectrum gave us to use and I feel the picture quality is better as well. All in all I am very happy with the purchase and wish I had made the switch sooner.

I stopped using the modems issued by cable (ISP) providers about 8 years ago. I had to a perfectly working modem until my provider updated their network and newer protocols were required to support the line. I setup the Nighthawk and have been back in business. Cable speeds same, possibly better but I dont know if thats due to the device itself..or cable company cleaning up their cables and network.

Love it, WAY faster than the modem we originally had from Spectrum, I bought this one to future proofs for a few months, hopefully years, but as technology moves so fast, you never know, only issue I had was slow connection on the initial setup but that was more than likely user error; have not had an issue with the modem, other than Spectrum acting up. Would highly recommend to anybody, don’t be scared of the price.

So far so good..but its pricey. I have only had for more than a month, so the final verdict is still out. Check back with me in a year as it seems like all the modems and router start failing and doing weird things after 1 year.

Very solid and dependable Cable modem. These are fairly straightforward to install. It required some coordination to register it with my cable provider. I needed to upgrade my channel count because of working from home and doing video conferencing. Since I have upgraded to this modem some of my glitchy issues have gone away.

Purchased this item because I cut the cable cord and was through with be tired of getting jerked around with poor service from the cable company. Coupled with a Wi-Fi 6 Router, our whole internet experience changed with the connection of this new equipment. Don't believe what the cable company is tell you. Drop their equipment and get your own and be free and faster on the internet!

Works great and super easy to install! Would recommend! Just make sure it is compatible with your ISP.

This modem is great, another upgrade to get the speed I'm paying for. This tied in with the Orbi mesh router, wicked speed now. The design reminds me of an alien ship. I have only one problem, when setting up, it said this modem does not support the orbi router RBK852 I have, even though according to specs it supports the orbi 852. I checked for an firmware update, none available. Maybe one will available later on, but for now enjoying what I have.

Step up from previously owned modem and way better than the BS Comcast will give you. Handles the Mbs i get on my plan well. Setting up new modems is always a hassle, having to try and get ahold of an actual person instead of robot or automated responses at Xfinity.
