Easy set up and great speed. A real set it and forget it.

This modem is great, another upgrade to get the speed I'm paying for. This tied in with the Orbi mesh router, wicked speed now. The design reminds me of an alien ship. I have only one problem, when setting up, it said this modem does not support the orbi router RBK852 I have, even though according to specs it supports the orbi 852. I checked for an firmware update, none available. Maybe one will available later on, but for now enjoying what I have.

I upgraded from the cm1000 to this one because I wanted to see if I could get more out of my 1 gig plan. It definitely delivered. I was getting around 300 mbps and now with this one I’m getting about 900 mbps. Your modem can definitely throttle your internet speeds. If you’re a gamer or need the most out of your internet this one can definitely handle it.

Easy to set up, just don't forget to call your ISP and tell them that their hardware is garbage compared to the awesome equipment you're able to provide for yourself. Don't scam yourself with modem rental fees for garbage modems. Get yours today, good sir or madam!

I bought this to upgrade from a few year old modem/wifi router combo when I installed a mesh system in my new house. Boy did it make a difference. I have a 600 Mbps plan with Xfinity and I'm actually seeing closer to 700 with this at times. Made a huge difference from what I had, plus the fact that's it's good up to 2 Gbps means it should be good for a few more years.

Want to talk about fast well, there is not the faster the Netgear modem is the fastest modem has ever been a nickname on sonic the hedgehog even though it’s not blue and it’s black and it doesn’t have any spikes or red shoes, but I drew some on there, so it looked authentic

This modem replaced a Hitron (E31N2V1) provided by Spectrum that constantly went offline for 4 minutes and several seconds. The issue persisted over the past year, after multiple service visits, and a modem replacement (same manufacturer) by Spectrum. Happy to report the Nighthawk CM2000 has performed flawlessly and not logged a single dropped connection. While Spectrum doesn’t charge a monthly fee for their modem, keeping my sanity, avoiding family aggro, and work-at-home job security are priceless.

This modem allows me to get double the speeds of my original modem. I noticed that i was not getting the download speeds that i was paying for, so I decided to update my modem the CM2000 and should have updated much sooner!

Working good so far. Easy to setup with Comcast. Getting great speed.

I upgraded from a CM1100 and everything went smoothly. The modem looks great and was easy to connect to my account. The only thing I don’t understand is why both this router and the Orbi, which is made by Netgear, removed the power switch, so the only way to cut the power to the unit is by pulling the power cord, seems like a step backwards. The modem has been problem free for the last 2 months.
