Love it. Got this to replace a glitchy Arris that Cox provided for use with its Gigablast. It's been about a month & the Nighthawk is working smoothly. Reliable, fast & no more rental fees! Pairs seamlessly with an Orbi WiFi router.

I upgraded my modem to this so when I can upscale my Internet speeds, I already have a device that can support it. Works great with my Spectrum service. I just wish the base is a detachable accessory so I can mount it on the wall.

Works great. The only issue I have is with Netgear service. I had an issue with my last router and modem and they were willing to diagnose for $199. They were nearly 4 years old, So I bought new ones. These work great

Setup was a bit clunky but not difficult. Performance is good once settings are correct.

Product is great. Fast and stable 1g internet. First one I received had hardware malfunction and wouldnt work after a few months. But netgear replaced it for a shipping fee. Ever since, no problems.

Upgraded from my old CM600. The Nighthawk series look much cool than its predecessors, however it still uses very light plastic shell which make it feels cheap. Overall, it's easy to use. I just hope NETGEAR can use more robust material.

I was looking for a new Modem that would be able to transmit my fast connection across my entire house. I decided to go with this one. I received it shortly after and set it up quick. This turned out to be a pretty good modem! Recommend!

Definite speed increase! Nearly doubled the download speeds after installation. Returned the cable operators modem and saving $20/mmonth in rentals. No brainer purchase!

Game changer! I bought this with a new router after having issues with streaming glitching and some lag time/video disconnect on zoom. It solved every problem I had. Upgrade your equipment to solve internet issues!

This modem rocks! Have had the CM1000 for a few years now and decided to upgrade. The CM1000 would run a little too hot for my liking, thankful that it is well ventilated and now sits as my backup to this modem which emits a little heat but nowhere near as much as the CM1000 nor as much as an Arris modem that ran hotter than the CM1000 but gave me nothing but problems with my internet provider. I traded in the Arris for this modem and am glad I did!

The installation was quick and easy. I installed it to replace the xfinity modem. My upload and download speeds have greatly improved but most import, in combination with my new wireless combo, I am no longer dropping the signal.

I've been reading the 1 star reviews and sounds similar to my issue and I'm quite surprised the modem still is rated at 4.5 stars. 6 days after the year warranty is up (purchased on 10/27/2021) all the lights are flashing/blinking. I followed the protocol: unplug, wait, plug, reset, wait reconnect. All amounted to nothing. I called NetGear customer support. They confirmed it is a hardware problem. Even if I entered into a paid contract for NetGear support, it would not help with hardware issues. Heed this warning please. Regardless, I paid $249.99 less taxes for this product with the understanding it was going to last. And it has failed my expectations. Now, if I bought a modem at $80 and it lasted a year, then I'd think, "you get what you paid for." But this was $250 dollars. Regardless of the industry standard of 1 year warranty, I'd expect it to last much longer based on price = quality. If I'm mistaken, then the company's mission should be reviewed. I do not think this is a customer issue, but a NetGear issue. They have such a great reputation. It's disgusting and disappointing that they have not addressed this issue to all who have encountered this problem. I've escalated this issue and hope they do the right thing.
