    Paired this bad boy (cm2000) with the asus 5400 and wow my gaming experience is way better. No lag or other bs yet. Easy Connection to my ISP with my new setup. Came from a arris SB8300, owned that for a week and it made my life miserable. lol.

    Works well when working. It got damaged with slight power surges (happened with heavy rain). Still within return period so I just exchanged it. I would buy again. Cable company ran a new line from house to feed box and no issues.

    It took me 2 tries with my internet company for them to be able to "see" my new modem on their end and get it set up. Since then we have still had to keep resetting the modem to get connectivity. Thinking about calling Geek Swuad to see if they can diagnose the problem or if this one needs to be returned for a different one.

    It seems to be working ok but the ds led is continually blinking indicating it’s scanning for a ds channel. Comcast said that is ok I don’t know how true that is. I’ll let you know after I have had the modem a while.

    Better than a “board!” While the “board” was hot to the touch this one is cooler! Cause it actually has a good size heatsink you can see unlike the “board” which is small and not possible to see the inside.
