    The gave me the wrong one. I needed the 2 in 1. Have no idea if this one is any good or not. Had to drive all the way back to store that was over an hr away from my home.

    Terrible cable modem stay away

    I bought this to replace ab Arris that broke. This cable modem was broke right out of the box. All it would do is flash all the lights at the same time. A lot of wasted time. I ordered the Motorola docsis 3.1 cable modem. I would’ve bought that one to start but they didn’t carry it at either of my Best Buy stores near me.

    After 8 months this modem failed. All the lighs flash and you can not reset it, Which is well documented online. Trying to get a replacement with Netgear is a nightmare and so time consuming they just want you to give up. DO NOT BUY NETGEAR PRODUCTS.

    Set up excited to use initially seemed to work well, but when I tried to use LAN connection, would not work, tried everything turned to be modem, everything works fine after switching put spent hours spinning my wheels over faulty modem. Now too late to return

    Unable to sync,optimum lacks staff,geek argued about time window and optimum modum being proprietary, if they send him on the 21st,ill be returning thr modum

    Worked fine until it died in 14 months, of course 2 months past the warranty, so $200+ bucks down the drain. Should have a more robust life for just sitting there and passing info thru it.

    ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. BE WARNED, THIS DEVICE WILL FAIL WITHIN 6 MONTHS. TOTAL GARBAGE. PURCHASED IN OCTOBER 2021 AND IT FAILED IN FEBRUARY 2022. G-A-R-B-A-G-E.

    Bricked itself out of the box.

    Bought this to replace a netgear modem that died after a year. The modem bricked itself during activation. Netgear support is horrible, offshore subpar customer service. Returned for arris modem. Will never buy netgear again.

    Worked ok until it shorted out and displayed flashing lights. Thought it was a fluke, bought another, and that one shorted out. It is an issue with several people online, also. Ended up getting an Arris.

    Defective right out of the box. Had to call my ISP provider thinking I had done something wrong. Signal was fine but router was dead.

    Bad hardware

    Purchased this in July of 2021. Less than half a year later the lights all start flashing simultaneously with no change regardless of power goes.
