Customers are saying
Customers have good things to say about the Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem's performance, ease of use, and setup. Many appreciate its compatibility with various internet providers and its ability to provide a strong signal. While some find the price to be high, the positive feedback on speed and reliability outweighs this concern for most users. A few users reported experiencing issues with the modem itself, but these were less frequent than positive reviews.

CM2000 with Optimum
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.CM2000 works with Optimum or Suddenlink in Austin TX. I have a 400 mb down / 40 mb up plan and it exceeds those figures. Provisioning was easy, the modem can be logged into & it's been working flawlessly. It is an odd shape and puts off a little heat. Definitely not cost effective for my current needs nor is Doc 3.1 necessary today.

It has a 2.4GB port, and that's what's important!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for something that would have > 1GB port (this one has a 2.4GB port) and could support speeds > 1GB. This fit the bill, getting about 2.4GB out the back side. It's a lot of money, but the number of devices that actually have a port that can support the claimed multi-gig speeds over a wired connection are few and far between.

Flawless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From set up to operation, our Nighthawk CAX80 is flawless. One of the easiest modems to set up out of the box and the most reliable when it comes to running multiple data hungry devices. We have tried many other brands and now that we have purchased and used a Nighthawk modem/router, we wouldn’t use anything else. Finally, a reliable, easy to use, modem router that provides excellent coverage and speed at a decent price. Well done Netgear, well done.

Great, Future Proof Modem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great, works great, better than the equipment from Xfinity. Setting up with Xfinity was a bit of a challenge, their systems are pretty awful, but when it finally connected, it works fantastic. Works perfectly with a Nighthawk router, solid products.

Blazingly fast
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is blazing fast. Before you think to bash this product for subpar performance, make sure it is not induced by your ISP provider. Mine was Cox cable and I kicked their overpriced cable service to the curb and switched to online streaming. Well, the cable co. installer installed a 1 to 4 splitter that actually caused this modem signal to noise (SNR) numbers on all 45 downstream channels to be below minimum performance levels. This caused a gigablast service to operate at 130-ish mbps DL speed. Once the spliiter was removed, modem restarted, SNR numbers exceeded SNR required levels, downstream channel light stop blinking, and DL speed is consistently 940-955mbps. Of course, Cox text support could decipher this problem and they considered SNR of 27-31 dB as acceptable. To their credit, this device is on their approved list for gigablast service and they manage the firmware for this device very well. Netgear has outdone themselves with the CM2000 device and also the ORBI AX6000. For my situation, the monthly savings in cable bill and no equipment rentals fees will pay for this device in 8 months. So worth it!

CM2000
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy device setup (less than 10 minutes with existing hardware). After a month of ownership no issues to report. I paired this Modem with the RBK852 Orbi Mesh System and am consistently able to achieve 1300 Down and 45 Up from my ISP.

cm2050 - Xfinity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my cm1050 modem. Xfinity essentially disable the 2-4ports on the cm1050 and customer service is clueless sbout how that works. After realizing the modem only gets me 800mb at beston my 1200gb plan, i decided to switch. I picked up this cm2050. Works like a charm, i hard wired my laptop and was getting well over 1000gb. I mated this with a netgear ax5400 wireless router. My wifi speeds on my laptop peak around 900mb abd i get between 500-700mb on my cell phone wifi signal. Ive got 37 devices connected to my network and this modem is piping all of the internet in our home wonderfully.

good router may be overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a good modem and reliable. I just am not sure if it is much better than a different brand router and I could have paid a lot less. I recommend it but it may be over priced.
