Simple to install. Works flawlessly. If your home or work space exceeds 3000 sf, you might consider adding a Nighthawk Extender.

We were paying for high speed internet through our provider and renting their modem. The speed we got was only half of what we paid for. We had multiple compatibility issues with the modem and our other equipment. Since getting the Nighthawk and a router, our internet is faster, more reliable, and easier to manage. Plus we OWN it! Highly recommend.

Turned in the router from spectrum and this one works way better. Easy to setup and we don’t worry about the internet.

Makes internet work. Super fast. So many gigabytes. Couldn't find any hawks in the box.

So far so good..but its pricey. I have only had for more than a month, so the final verdict is still out. Check back with me in a year as it seems like all the modems and router start failing and doing weird things after 1 year.

Owning your own cable modem is a great way to save on monthly internet modem rental costs. Netgear offered great customer service and support. when the first Optimum internet rep incorrectly stated that this modem was incompatible with their service. This Nighthawk modem performs well with my Eero Pro Tri-band Gigabyte mesh routers and the Optimum Gigabyte WiFi service.

I really like this modem 3.1 is the way to go to future proof your equipment, haven't had a issue with it thus far..

I went through 2 or 3 of the Cox Panorama Modem/WiFi systems before giving up because none of them worked properly. Each one lasted about 3 or 4 months. Plus I was having rent it. The technician at Cox gave me a list of ones to purchase. Since we work from home, we needed a good system. We were told this was one of the top of line ones to buy..within budget. We have had no issues with it, thus far. The only time we have is issues is when its our service provider.

This modem is great, works perfectly with Mediacom. I also had a Nighthawk CM-1000 before this that worked perfectly (and hadn't failed, but Mediacom support insisted it was my modem that was the problem so I bought this). I'm still much happier using my own higher end modem and Best Buy had everything in stock with curbside delivery.
