Windows 10 Compatibility Issues - Had to return

Due to some kind of compatibility issue with the drivers (I tried both the ones directly from the NETGEAR website, as well as the ones that came stock in the box), the signal will completely drop once every 5-15 minutes. These constant disconnections served as a huge source of frustration and I ended up returning the product after trying to troubleshoot it myself for over two weeks to no avail. I even tried purchasing a second one, thinking to myself that the first piece of hardware might have been defective. Nope. It's definitely the drivers that run with the device. If you look up "Netgear A7000 disconnects" on Google, it appears that I'm not alone in having these challenges. as scores of other people have reported the same thing. Ultimately, I ended up buying an Ac1200 (slower speed) Linksys USB adapter that I haven't had nearly as many issues with.

Buy this if you are suffering from low Wifi speed

Worth the investment I you need to increase your Wifi speed from a basic Wifi adapter. I had a cheap adapter, and with this A7000 adapter my speed increased by about 10x. Make sure to download the driver from their website.

Encountered known problem where it connects to WiFi, but not internet. Tried uninstalling/ reinstalling no avail, Netgear and Windows pointed fingers at each other. Total BS Seriously regret buying

Great WIFI Adapter

Installation was easy. Had issues at first but found out my windows was lacking an update. Updated my windows restarted everything and now it works great.

Also good to have a s a backup when Windows update breaks the default wireless card.

Much needed upgrade

I read reviews on this product and decided to purchase it. Not only do now not have connection issues but my wifi connection has been faster.

They all start losing internet randomly and having really low transfer speeds making playing online video games or being in discord calls unbearable.
