It is strongly recommended for those who need an adapter for either a laptop or desk computer.

does not work with macOS, tech support NOT

Netgear Tech support did not understand the problem and the latest driver was over a year old. Tried to use with 2018 MacBook Pro, MacBook internal antenna isn't strong enough for where I need to use it.

Quality Control is Iffy

Did not pick up in any of my back USB slots (all 4), and wouldn't fit without cradle in my front USB either (both). I tried in the cradle and out of the cradle, with no dice.

Hassle free wifi

If you have no disk drive its gonna be a problem as ur gonna need like a laptop connected to the internet already to download the software it took me a few hours to find the right software to install on a thumb drive and to install on my desktop

Poor software

Bad product
