My desktop dell computer wouldn't connect to the house wireless network. Turns out that at the time of buying (some 6-7 years back), wireless was not so prevalent - the computer did not have a wireless network adapter. Bingo! this Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 connected via a USB (the computer has 2.0) worked right out of the box - needed only to start the router ( Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 (model R6700).

Good product. it has worked well so far, and I do not foresee any problems with it given the reliability of NETGEAR products

I got this adapter because my pc is a single band and I need the dual band to connect to 5G. Work fast and the size is not a problem for me. I got the product from Staples because it was closer to my house.

The Nighthawk AC1900 is a powerful wifi adapter! Netgear has outdone theirselves.

Added the NetGear Nighthawk to a tower that did not have wifi. The installation was very simple and because it connects with a USB cable it can be placed away from the heat of the tower and the wall

This wifi adapter is great for playing games online.

I have installed usb wifi adapters before with quick access after a quick enabling of the adapter in the task bar but this unit is software garbage. The genie did not work and it has been hours troubleshooting my system only to find others have had poor results also. It never did work on my older system with 2.0 usb ports and I am taking it back to the store. I am so sorry I trusted the best buy salesman instead of researching opinions online first. See for yourself

Had to download software just to remove it and put the program on my cpu. (this was the solution due to the download corrupting my hard drive) do not waste your time unless you want to go through the hassle of this. in other news after the fix it is working just fine, but i wished i spent my money on something that didnt require me to diagnose the problem myself.

Bought this but it never worked right. I have Fios with the new white Verizon router and for a few days it disconnected maybe once a day and I should have returned it then. I spent too much time trying all the fixes online and nothing worked. Now it's been 3 weeks (past Best Buys return policy) and the device doesn't see my 5ghz network and drops every 5- 60 minutes, and stays down until I reboot or unplug/replug the device. I'm out $80 on this and am going to need to buy a new adapter.

Product worked well at first. Within a few weeks, the internet started dropping and the night hawk would have to sign back on. I purchased this on on August 5 and today I could not stay connected for more than 2 minutes before it needed to be reset. I looked at the connections, hardware and software updates. Nothing would fix this issue. I would love for Best Buy to refund me but it is past the 15 days so I'm out of luck.

I bought this for my gaming pc which also acts as a home entertainment system streamed to the living room. I bought this A7000 and it fulfilled my need disputed occasionally needing to reset divers for about a month. After using it for a while the need to constantly reset divers start becoming a serious issue. Interrupting TV, Movies and Gaming sessions. The Device eventually slowed the internet to under 1mbs. After some googling I manged to fix it by disabling some software that was installed with the disk. A week after that it stopped working completely. This product is complete garbage KEEP AWAY

I recently changed from Comcast’s poor intermittent service to Verizon FiOS. As a result I had no internet capability on my desktop, as it previously had been hard wired.

For a couple of months it was working great until it started disconnecting on its own even though it was not my internet.

Overpriced and constantly cuts out when I can get it to work at all

This product doesn’t do well in large areas. Do not buy this product if you plan on having one or two walls in between the connection and router. It’s not a good product. Then customer service will say it’s an internal error if you call them upset. Disappointed Best Buy let’s these guys ruin business for them
