This was an easy install and helped our 2015 desktop work with our nighthawk router.

This is a very good wifi adapter, but I was trying to use it for gaming and I was getting ping spikes that left the games unplayable. I was only one room away from my $300 Netgear router, and download/upload speeds were constant. This signals to me that what I was experiencing was a limitation of the USB interface. I ordered a PCIe network adapter from Amazon which will hopefully work better. Still, this is a fantastic adapter in regards to everything but wireless gaming.

Working really good. So far I do not have problem. I'm a heavy internet user. I never have signal drop or speed drop problem from This device. So far I'm using it for 2 months. I will update my review if I catch any problem.

Worked immediately upon install, and transfer speed as promised (The spec 2.0 Gigabits is equivalent to about 240 MegaBytes/sec.) USB cable feeds a separate standing antenna assembly which is a better transceiver than a USB thumbdrive style adapter, provides more flexibility in placement of the antenna. and saves a PCI-e slot. One of the other pluses with this one is that the external antenna assembly is heavy enough to stand reliably on a flat surface, well built.

Expensive for what it is, and doesn’t work as flawlessly as I’d expect for the price. Dongle would get stuck in a loop while trying to change WiFi’s.

Works great! Just what I needed! Used it for my daughters computer that didn’t have wifi.

I have an MSI laptop that is passed the extended warranty. The internal WIFI card has been sporadic causing interruptions while working with my remote web server and database. For the moment I can't afford the down time it will cost me to send in my laptop for repairs. The NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band WiFi USB 3.0 Adapter was the perfect solution that allowed me to continue a project without having to wait for the laptop to be repaired or setup another computer to finish the job. The adapter provides a reasonably fast and constant connection that is allowing me to migrate data from the database on my localhost (laptop) to a remote database and SFTP finished code to the web server. I'm very pleased with this solution.

Got this adapter for my desktop on second floor to make it wireless. Works great. No problems. Easy to connect.

One of the 'best buys' that I have ever made. Love this. No more cord and cables in my home office.

I generally never go wireless for any kind of online gaming but this wireless adapter is just good enough for my casual gaming. Only a few times was there any lag and it was very minor. Wireless still not recommended for any serious online PvP gaming but works great for everything else. I have 2 of these now matching up to my Nighthawk router.

If you have a desktop that doesn't have wifi built in, this wifi adapter works flawlessly
