Pleasantly surprised. Bought it to use temporarily while we wire more the house. With gigabit fiber the streaming and gaming experience using it a floor below the router has been great.

Plugged it in and within 2 minutes I was connected

works well under windows 7 and 10 does not work with Mint Linux. there may be drivers available now for this adapter, but not when i purchased it two years ago. is sitting in a box now. I only use windooze at home if i want to play a game. Linux is my daily driver

I bought this when my wife moved her PC out to our remodeled garage. (no longer garage, rec room). I was dubious about the ability of her PC to get good reception from my wifi router and I was right. I purchased this, set it up (pretty good instructions) and voila, actually better than she had before.I like it!

good item it turned out i didnt need it so I just gave it back but if your looking for something to fix the wifi that will help

Its Working as it should and having no problems setting it up for my pc even with the router being across the home it still connected great with full bars

Installation was rather difficult since I dont have access to Wi-Fi but after sorting that out the product has really improved my connection and works seemlessly

The NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 adapter provided WiFi connectivity for a desktop computer allowing me to move my wireless router to a more central location. The only fault to the product is that it uses a magnetic base with warnings to not get it near computer drives or disks. Really? Isn't it a computer accessory?

I have a 2015 mac book pro that pulled up an error message saying wifi could not be detected. Apple told me to go to best buy and purchase a wifi adapter. Tried 2 others that didnt work. This one worked like a charm.

So far using it with a Gigabyte Brix mini desktop. I'm in an older home with solid walls and although I got a signal in my study it was nothing to write home about. Haven't tried Windows but good in Linux Mint 19.3

This is a great network adapter. Compared to an ASUS AC-1200 WiFi dongle, we are able to get a more reliable WiFi connection on our computer farthest away from the mesh network node. The connection is steady, doesn't drop, and the speed stays constant.

My mobo didn't come with a wifi adapter built in, so I unfortunately had to get my own external one. I usually hook up an ethernet cable, but this adapter gives about the best performance I can expect from wifi when I can't use the ethernet cable.

My 2014 Dell desktop (win 10) was only getting 20-30 Mbps with the original wifi card on a 200 Mbps network. Installed this adapter went to 200+. Paired with my Nighthawk router. Used stand alone driver from website. Follow directions in setup docs. No reboot required. No disconnection issues. Disabled the on board wifi just to be sure it won’t switch back, but may not be necessary. Tower sits on the floor next to desk and cradle reaches the desk easily.

this was used on a workstation in my wareosue where we have no cable run, its pretty far from the wifi router but still picks up great signal and works great. usb is a bit clunkier than i'd like, it blocks 2 of the otehr USB ports... other than that i love it.

IU got this to connect to my Father-in-laws Wi-fi. He had only 1 mbps (that's not a typo) so this would drop the signal, not because it was faulty, just his internet sucked! We got his internet updated and then didn't need this. Was easy to use when we had it

I'm using it with the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter to watch F1 Multiviewer on my 6 year old Sony TV and they both have working great so far! I'm loving it.
