Using it to operate my desk top computer off of a WiFi signal. Operates well enough to run some MMO games. Slows down sometimes when there's a lot of traffic on the WiFi signal as i am sharing it with other people, but i believe it will work fine for almost everything once i get my own WiFi.

No internet required for setup process. Getting very fast download and upload speeds from it as well.

Simple, easy, and straight forward. This works great for getting a stronger connection to a wireless network that is further away than normal!

This works well and does what is intended but it's too big for a laptop. I upgraded my laptop and noticed that the NIC was too slow. Instead of upgrading the NIC card, i went this route. This works well but is too big for a mobile laptop user/

It worked well. Had to connect my computer physically to my phone for internet to download the program. After that was set up, the Wi-Fi adapter worked fantastically.

Increased my speeds but without it and using the new drivers that are for this unit it increased my interal modem speeds to the point i rarely use this item

Strong and stable internet connection, the setup takes sometime since you need to download the driver via other device then copy paste to the PC.

This saved me at least $1000.00. My current laptop has issues with wifi. This saved me and my mind as i was about to throw my laptop out the window

Good software and a stable connection are all I wanted for my kids computer. Got both for a decent price. Word of caution with oculus headsets the frequency on controllers will interfere with this usb dongle. Move it away from the desktop some and it will fix the issue.

My son needed a WiFi adapter for his older computer. Netgear adapter is very easy to set up and works great

WELL worth the money. I currently use "community Wi-Fi" in my apartment, as speeds have been pretty good as is. After moving my set up to a different location in my place, I found both my download and upload speeds took a pretty good hit. Enough to still game, but I guess I'm a snob for blistering fast speeds. This thing does not disappoint in the slightest. Tripled my download speeds when I'm the only one bandwidth hogging. Very impressed.

Two story townhome with lots of potential interference..was really surprised how good of a connection, no drops, very infrequent lag

This was set up in a small office building, where one of the offices (furthest from the router) was experiencing slower internet speeds. This product gave the speed a small boost (about 8 mbps more) than without.

I was doubting getting a usb WiFi adapter and just getting a WiFi card that connects through the PCIE but it has not disappointed
