Works as intended and better than the network adapter that came with the computer!

It definitely makes the speed on my laptop better but it doesnt work sometimes and in bad weather... Sometimes i cant notice the difference.

This A7000 adapter works great on 1 computer (2016), but major issues on my new 2020 computer, like many other owners on Youtube and Netgear forums. Tried an online fix posted by users, but speeds drop dramatically. :( I am using this adapter on 2 laptops. On one laptop (Acer Predator G5-793-72AU from early 2017), the A7000 adapter works fine (858 Mbps wireless download speedtest on my internet connection - detailed below) without any disabling of services or the other Youtube fix for it). On the other laptop - 2020 Samsung Galaxy Flex (with only USB-C ports), using a USB-C to USB-A adapter, I have similar issues with the A7000 like the issues others are reporting: I have a 1,200 Mbps download tier internet plan which is over provisioned by my ISP to 1,440 Mbps. With RunSwUSB service enabled I get 700 Mbps via Speedtest app at a laptop on the other side of the house relative to the router location. When I stopped and disabled the RunSwUSB service, speeds immediately fluctuated much more during the Speedtest app test and download speeds dropped to at BEST 415 Mbps, typically much lower. Netgear has NOT updated the drivers since 2017.

This product did the job well but it is extremely large and gets in the way to where I was afraid it’s going to break at some point.

It has so many issues staying connected to my router !!! When it is connected it works far better then my older wireless adapter but I never had connection issues with the last one ... this one it just disconnects VERY VERY OFTEN like at-least every 10 mins when I am playing any video game on my desktop. It’s very sad I had such high hopes from the reviews.

I bought this so I wouldn’t have to hardwire for a stream. It does the job but I still have some packet loss here and there, so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re trying 60 fps but it’s perfect for everything else.

Being hooked up to the internet wasn't working. The computer was lagging. So we tried this. It helped alot. Thinking of buying another one for our other computer.

It really gave a speed to WiFi and covered brode range as well.

Good quality adapter that serves its purpose well. The computer’s motherboard that I built did not have WiFi so this was an easy fix for that since I didn’t want to get a new motherboard.

This is the first time I have used an external WIFI device. I had no problem at all setting this up. Works very well. Not quite WIFI 6 speeds but not too shabby

I have my desktop on the 3rd floor and my modem on the first floor so I dont have to have the ethernet cable fished through the house for a direct connection and get still get a solid fast connection

I bought this to have a Bluetooth signal on my desktop computer and I live in a motorhome next to my daughters house.This sends bluetooth signal very well I have everything connected now.Great Product and a fair price.

Works well definitely gave me a lot more wifi signal then my computer could do without it.

Bought this for my brother's computer, and his WiFi has never been faster. The only drawback I see is that you need either a CD drive to get the necessary drivers, or you need internet access on another device to download and copy the drivers over with. Once you install the companion software, you don't really need to use it... at least on Windows 10.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about this thing comes with a usb stand and works great. Doesn’t suck down all your bandwith either.. Great product.

Needed it to work from home while on quarantine. Easy to pick up and install...with a little remote help from my IT department. Had me up and running in no time!
