Hot connection dropping garbage

It doesn't work. Then I have to go through all the forums and blah blah to end using some other customers "solution". The adapter drops connection on the daily. Usually unplug then plug back in and its fine, for like 30 minutes. Sometimes I "use" the standalone driver and not genie, cuz genie is hot garbage. Other times it's the "make sure to disable its switching between 2.4 and 5ghz. I'm just done with netgear stuff. Get this or not it's up to you if you need it but be sure to use thoroughly before your return window ends and return this thing when it inevitably disappoints.

Shouldn’t be on the shelves

The manufacturer has not updated the software drivers in 5 years, leading to “the blue screen of death” at random intervals. My computer never had any issues before using this adapter, and after looking into it this is a common problem. I have to restart my computer 90% of the time directly after booting it up in order to get the wifi adapter to work. Do NOT waste your money on this adapter.
