Modem and router work great. Our kids don't have any issue using their Xbox, Switch, or laptops anywhere in the house. One small tip...ensure you select the 5G option in your devices settings. It'll be faster and have much better range in doors. Range was a bit of an issue on our son's switch until I helped him select the 5G connection.

The cost of cable TV is getting ridiculous so I decided to cut the cable & purchase my own equipment. I spent hours researching products that were compatible with Xfinity’s WiFi. This one is not the cheapest but works flawlessly. I do try to be mindful about turning WiFi off when not using my iPads & iPhones so I continue to get a strong signal for the TVs. So far I am thrilled with my choice!

The Netgear Nighthawk Dual-Band Router/Modem is a good deal as a starting R/M. It has enough speed for most of the average user, but lacks the latest DOCSIS, as it is only 3.0. (Keep in mind that some of the major providers are at 3.2-3.8 already!) But if you wisely purchase an extended warrantee, you will assure yourself of being able to easily upgrade your M/R at any time during the warrantee period.

This my 2nd NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 as the first 1 froze up after less than 2 years of use. I still give it 5 stars as I believe this to be an isolated incident having used many NETGEAR products over the years and all but that 1 was stellar. In fact I still use a NETGEAR router that is over 10 years old. NETGEAR is still the best.

Awesome, even without paying for the fastest internet service from my cable company, this unit does not miss a beat! With multiple users logged in and streaming movies this unit does not slow down. And great range!

This modem was perfect since the beguining. The conection was ease and the speed was amazing.

I have issue with my Internet too slow I called Comcast Internet service I was transferred all over the world costumer service specifically Colombia and Philippines they promise me they will fix and speed up my Internet I even add speed on my Internet but they can't fix it . I went to Best Buy my self and a salesman recommended me this ..installed it easy plug and play actually so easy ...my Internet fast and reliable !!!!! Thanks

Netgear worked very easily. It was easy to connect and continues to work reliably.

Seems to be working good. Haven't had any issues with it.

I kept having problems with my internet provider (comcast) and I wanted to rule out my router as well as get rid of the rental fee. All in all it was very easy to setup, and when you go to the "manage your router" page, it gives you many easy to use options. If you happen to mess up there is a reset button just in case for any setting you may accidentally have messed up.
