I recently moved from Uverse to Xfinity and found this modem and it is great! Easy to setup and fast!

The Netgear Nighthawk Dual-Band Router/Modem is a good deal as a starting R/M. It has enough speed for most of the average user, but lacks the latest DOCSIS, as it is only 3.0. (Keep in mind that some of the major providers are at 3.2-3.8 already!) But if you wisely purchase an extended warrantee, you will assure yourself of being able to easily upgrade your M/R at any time during the warrantee period.

The cost of cable TV is getting ridiculous so I decided to cut the cable & purchase my own equipment. I spent hours researching products that were compatible with Xfinity’s WiFi. This one is not the cheapest but works flawlessly. I do try to be mindful about turning WiFi off when not using my iPads & iPhones so I continue to get a strong signal for the TVs. So far I am thrilled with my choice!

The Netgear router was easy to set up and runs fast. Good bang for your buck.

SUPER FAST ROUTER, quick and easily connected to my Xfinity service

I kept having problems with my internet provider (comcast) and I wanted to rule out my router as well as get rid of the rental fee. All in all it was very easy to setup, and when you go to the "manage your router" page, it gives you many easy to use options. If you happen to mess up there is a reset button just in case for any setting you may accidentally have messed up.

Awesome. This thing was super easy to set up for use with Comcast and is very fast. With 2 people working from home and a kid streaming, our old modem/router combo wasn't able to keep up. But after getting this one in and running, we immediately jumped up to 100mbps downloads with very little lag.

Netgear worked very easily. It was easy to connect and continues to work reliably.

This modem was perfect since the beguining. The conection was ease and the speed was amazing.

We have Xfinity and the cost of renting the router didn't make sense. We bought this router since it can be used for whatever service. It worked immediately after setup. The range is good, however since we have two of us sharing the internet it was a little unstable when using Zoom; added a wi-fi repeater and had no problems since.

Replaced old modem and router with all-in-one. Much faster. Like having one components (no wires except coax cable). Set-up not as easy as they indicate. Had to contact both internet provider and Netgear customer service. However, I believe this would have been required for any new modem/router. All-in-all, very satisfied.
