I purchased this Router/Modem first and it was fine until I found out it would not take the top speed of 1G. It did handle up to about 400 mbps. I did purchase the more pricey C7800 Netgear Nighthawk Cable Modem Router because I was going with the more powerful speeds. But for the lower speeds from Xfinity this Modem/Router is fine.

Able to connect 6 devices streaming with 0 lag. Good connectivity throughout the entire house without using an extender.

Would not connect properly student repeatedly cut off line in middle of exams

Purchased as a replacement for a Netgear router that failed after only 3 years. Previously, we never had a problem with Netgear. So far, this router is working very well with no issue Setup was easy while following directions. We are hoping it has a long life ahead of it....

Great Product - compatible with xfinity internet. So you don't have to pay the modem loan fee. The only thing I would consider an inconvenience is that every time it is unplugged you have to register it with xfinity. It might be a company issue, not a modem issue.

Loved the idea of a router modem combination, but this does not support a home phone with Wi-Fi. I have spectrum home phone and this could not support the phone. Sad because otherwise would not have returned it. Netgear in the past has been the best Wi-Fi router for us.

Easy to install and use router. Compatible with xfinty

My modems last for years. We've always used Netgears and knew that when the time came we would replace ours with the same brand. Setup was easy, wifi is fast and covers the house. Four phones, a computer, and a laptop are easily supported by the wifi along with my desktop that is directly plugged in.

Works great and easy to configure. However this is the second time I buy this product because the Ethernet ports somehow stopped working.

I bought this to not have to worry about the comcast/xfinity rental modem. i used the 50 mb speed package. This modem works well with the service. It is stored in the middle of the house on 2nd floor in a closet in a panel. I am able to get signal throughout the house for a 4300 sq ft no problems. Handles various items and I am happy saving $10/month + tax and having this.

The ones they give you from xfinity are used and are okay. This modem router is FAST and easy to set up with xfinity! If you have the easy set up with xfinity make sure you log in to netgear and set it up because your Wi-Fi wont-work until you do that.

Works well for our internet needs. Faster and better connection than our old router/modem combo. We entirely depend on internet access for all our entertainment needs. We were having some intermittent connection issues for about a week this month. I am assuming it was a cox issue and not so much a modem or router issue.

Easily installed, you don't have to be tech genius to get your network up and running. Provides reliable service and increase my download time significantly. I thought I had a problem with my cable, apparently my modem/router should have been replaced some time ago. I am very happy.

This router is perfect for anyone. Great range. Fast speeds!

Bought this based on the recommendations from the Geek Squad when we called about problems with our internet. We now have expanded coverage with no dropped signals. Like having both router and modem in one unit. So far, so good. Looks like once again the Geek Squad pointed us in the right direction.

Just what the doctor ordered. I wanted to purchase my own modem/router to get away from the Xfinity monthly charges. I looked around, made one mistake in purchasing a modem/router that did not have enough Ethernet ports and finally decided to go w/ this one. It has great connectivity throughout the house, is reasonable easy to admin and has all the Ethernet ports I need.

This router and modem was easy to set up and customer service is really good. Because of a goof on the cable company's side I had to call customer service and they were very helpful in making sure my product was up and running. Once we discovered it was a cable issue they made sure I knew what to tell the cable company and even called me back to confirm I was satisfied.
