Got this item to replace a rental from Comcast. Comcast has gone up on this rental twice in the last year. Give me a break. Anyway this wonderful item replaces the Comcast rental but download speeds have increased and have no trouble with WiFi throughout the house and yard. Great item easy install and I am thrilled/

this router is super fast with an amazing connection

After reading reviews, we decided to go with this. It has been a bit now and we have no regrets. We have xfinity and buying this is saving us money, it will pay for itself quickly. We are gamers and have had no lagging! Wifi reaches a huge area. Works great with multiple devices connected to it. The setup was super simple too.

It’s a good unit. Working well, seems faster than the ISP provided unit. I did have issues setting it up, Once I read the instructions it was easy to get going. They should include a quick start guide that tells you to log into the net gear app to set up. Otherwise it’s great!

Awesome router! I could tell the difference immediately working from home with a gamer, and streaming movies/shows simultaneously during COVID-19. Do not forget to contact your internet service provider and proved them with the serial number so that your equipment can be activated immediately!

This worked exactly as expected. There is a good amount of modifications that are available and the added functionality of a dedicated DLNA server is a great touch. The only con that I have about it is long range wifi access could be better out of the box. I however overcame this by pairing with an AC access point (bought elsewhere) that eliminated coverage issues.

I'm definitely not the guy to ask about routers but this has worked extremely well for me. Gets rid of an independent modem and kills it as far as bandwidth and staying connected. No issues with having to reconnect. If you're not tech savvy, this is a great purchase to keep your router out of sight and out of kind.

I am not great setting up computer stuff and this was easy for me.Took about 5 min to set up and gives a great signal.

This solved all of the issues we have been dealing with in our streaming services. KUDOS to the BB team member that recommended it as a solution - it works!! We no longer have delays, interruptions, buffering, or just other odd problems.

I bought this to replace an older router. My internet speeds had slowed up recently and I thought it was the router going bad. It turns out it was my ISP that just can't provide as fast of speeds anymore, but this router works well and it has better range than my old one. This should last a long time -- I'm happy with it.

A bit outdated now but it was excellent when I used it for my apartment.

We finally cut cable and decided to purchase this router instead of renting from Xfinity. So far it’s been working great. Unfortunately about 18 months later, it seems to be having issues and may need to replace it. Also I don’t like the nightHawk app much. It’s not intuitive and they upgrade it in 2020 and I thought the original app was easier.

Seems to be working fine. Better than paying for a cable modem through Comcast. Think I've paid for 5 of them by now with the monthly rental fee. Plus I got my cable bill down a little.

The only problem I had, had nothing to do with the modem/router, itself. It involved re-setting the name of the modem/router and the password on each device. I have a lot of devices and of course nothing would work without the name and password bring changed. So far, I am pleased with the performance of it.

After our old router finally died dead, we got this one. It seems to be working better; we only have 2 laptops and 2 smartphones (no game consoles or smart TV's or anything fun) so we aren't really pushing it. I knocked off a star because we still seem to be getting some lag but I don't know if that is the fault of the router or if it's due to another issue.

I purchased this modem for a family member who had xfinity installed in their home. The results after installation were fantastic. From internet connection to on demand on their directv service the signal strenght is unmatched. A great choice for the xfinity service they have.
