This seems to be a great product! My online time is so much faster I can hardly believe it. SO glad I paid extra to get this item.....and, I took the cable company's router back and saved myself each month. I'll have it paid for within a year.

Personally I'd never buy this kind of integrated device since I prefer to buy separate best of breed router and cable modem. I bought this for my mother in law who was having issues with her old wireless. The range was a big improvement over the old device and I had it up and working in under 15 minutes. No complaints.

On thanksgiving day I was trying to order gifts. When my modem quit work. After spend crazy about of time Trying to fix it. I went to Best Buy looking for something better than what I had but nothing way over the top. I got this how and was surfing the web in twenty minutes.

We had been renting from cable provider and finally decided to take the bull by the horns! So far so glad we did! Modem and router in one and speed tests may be a little better? A solid purchase.

This is an excellent router modem. It is 24 x 8 bonded rather than 8 x 4 bonded. It is much faster and has much better bandwidth than my previous router modem. Plus, it includes a personal FTP site.

I have had to use this with two different internet providers and it works very well. Having this saved me money on their bills by not having to rent one from the provide. No security or other problems and runs very efficiently with fast speed.

Perfect for Spectrum internet and for streaming. Be sure you set up any video streaming to the 5.0 channel for higher data speeds. I get no buffering when my wife and I watch Netflix or Amazon Prime 4K while my daughter is using Youtube on her TV and browsing on her laptop.

Much faster than my old router, well worth the price

I love this router. It maximizes the bandwidth your internet provider will allow and sends a strong powerful signal to most of the home. If you have a bigger home, you may want to get an extender with it. It's not a knock on this router, it's just that Wifi has a hard time getting through walls.

I will save a lot of cash by not renting from comcast. This was very easy to install. However, I spent hours with comcast and then with Geek Squad. Only to find out that I had installed it properly and Comcast had screwed up. Thank goodness for the Geek Squad.

I spoke to an associate in the store who recommended this modem based on the number of devices in our house that we needed to connect. It was very easy to set up myself right out of the box. We were up and running in less than 10 minutes. It's been running about a month now with no problems.

Works wonderful no flaws, seems fast. Easy to set up

Bought this to replace 2 device a cable modem and a WiFi adapter. This device minimized the device count and any loss of throughput for data traveling between devices. The modem itself is much faster than my previous standalone cable modem that was only cable of supporting a fraction of the 50mbs service. Only issue I have is the USB port does not work well with my external hard drive. Otherwise this device is great and we'll worth the price.

This was the second Netgear Nghthawk cable modem router I have purchased in the last year. I liked the first one so much, got another one for another home I own. The setup was easy and once it's setup, it continues to provide flawlessly 24/7.

Works great and has a long range, easy to install also

Purchased on recommendation of a Best Buy staffer to replace a previous router that had prematurely died, and a modem that was still functional. It was easy for a non-tech type to install, and has greatly simplified my wi-fi experience. I don't regret selecting a somewhat pricier option than planned.

So far it seems to be working well. I’ve had no problems.

Derek greeted us at (Best Buy Westminster CO) as soon as we walked in. The customer service experience was above and beyond from there. He guided us through all the pros and cons of routers/modems. Derek asks all the right questions on what/where and how the device was going to be used. He gave personal recommendations from what he uses at home to help gauge what we needed. He guided us through how to set up the modem and how we could add a mesh system in the future. Brought the router over to Xfinity store to link our account to the modem. Then we brought the router/modem home and set it up within an hour and able to personalize our settings. Downloaded the Nighthawk buddy app on our phones and connected all our devices with no stress. Why pay to lease when you can connect with ease. BEST BUY HAS UPPED THE GAME WITH EXPERTS THAT CARE!!!!

Great Router dose all i need Great range easy set up

I was having issues with the spectrum provided modem. I changed to netgear nighthawk and have noticed that my internet speed is better and my wifi dead spots are no longer existent as this router pushes signal enough to get Strong signal especially if you live in a two story house.
