giving good speed. reliable router after long time

This combo modem / router is the latest product offering 24 open connections to my Cable comp. no lags and fast internet. speed tests show I'm getting all of my gb that i sign up for.. Its has beam forming and Hardware firewall builtin. Setup was easy.

I needed a new router/modem since I was changing to a different cable company. I wanted to avoid the monthly rental fee, so I purchased my own. After reviewing many online, I purchased this one and I am satisfied with it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Picks up signal easily and easy to use light weight

I purchased this to replace a failing router and at the same time reduced the network hardware footprint tremendously by consolidating our modem and router. And the speed is amazing. The admin interface is a little clunky for me, but once you find the setting you're looking for, it's very straight-forward and responsive.

I was renting from my cable provider and decided to purchase this router with cable modem because I no longer needed a landline. I talked with a BB associate who helped me pick out the right one for my needs. This was perfect, the set up was easy and I have had no issues with the switch. The size is smaller than my rented one so it fits better in my home office space. Once set up and everything was up and running, there was only one thing that I didn't see in the instructions was to call the internet/cable provider and have them switch to the new router. Might have been my mistake since I had 30 days to use the new one and decide if it was working like I wanted it to. Once I called and had the routers switched over and they turned off theirs completely, and restarted my system so the new one was recognized on all my devices we were all set. I returned the rented one and am now seeing my savings! Netgear is a very reliable unit. I have had no glitches and I get very fast download and upload speeds.

Got this at the recommendation of my cable guy to replace the one provided by my cable company. Made a huge difference. The old one used to drop connection all the time. I haven’t had that problem since installing this modem. Sleek and easy to use.

I was very happy with the size - not only did it save me space by combining a modem and a router but turned out to be smaller than some routers and modems by themselves. In addition to that the 24x8 did help with unloading wifi channels so all devices did seem to work faster.

Brought the modem because I didn’t want to pay $13/month for Xfinity modem. And so far I’m in love with it! You can use it if you’re living in an apartment and when you get your house it would be very useful.

I purchased this style router for my new home. I don't do much gaming so I didn't need a higher end router. This router was perfect for my needs (3 tv's, Playstation 5 console, laptop). The price was perfect also.

Purchased to replace the 1700 which died on me. It was easy to install and has great range. I like the guest mode on it which will let friends and family to connect to the wifi without access to other devices that are connected to it. I would recommend this unit to anyone

works perfect will eliminate monthly costs and sufficient coverage for our house did need an extender for the backyard to have continued coverage but still worth the item, very happy with it and it was easy to install.

I'm not tech savy and needed to replace my router. I had my previous one for many years. I went to Best Buy and the individual explained the difference on the routers. I got a great deal on this one and now everyone can play games without having problems.

I read about this, I spoke with a few respected sources, I spoke to the employee at Best Buy and I spoke to my cable provider, WOW. Everyone told me that this is the one to buy. This was for the 600mbps internet service. After installing and only receiving 150mbps, I had a tech from WOW come to my house and after troubleshooting, we found out that this modem wont kick out WOW's high internet speed. So i returned it and got the ARRIS surfboard modem and an ASUS Dual Band Gigabit Router. Not saying that the Night Hawk isn't great, because everyone says it was. I just couldn't use it. I would recommend this to a friend but not if they were WOW internet subscribers.
