Bought this router due to cable one's router was junk. Would not get the speeds I was paying for. Once I hooked this router up I was getting 94% of the speed I was paying for over WiFi and hard wired was even better. Only reason. It giving a 5 it seems to drop some of my devices at times and I have to reset router to reconnect them. Hoping update will solve this soon

Purchased this modem to replace my Xfinity rental modem. Installed this modem in less than 30 mins and activated immediately. It's been a month and i never experienced any disconnections or outages with this modem and the speed is constant.

I purchased this router/modem so I would be able to take advantage of the FULL data speed I pay Comcast for. Plus, I would save money by not renting their own device. I like all the cool things I can do with this super powerful device... i haven't yet explored all of it's capabilities.

Super addition to the house - allowed me to give back the modem to comcast to save the $13 a month. Will pay for itself in less than a year and they can't throttle my speed anymore! Very happy! Set-up and activation was a breeze!

We were renting the standard modem from our cable company and it was ok but didn't reach very far as far keeping a good connection throughout the house..the connection would be fine for awhile and then disconnect amd reconnect..it was very frustrating. We found another modem at best buy but after talking to the salesman, we bought the net gear modem and are very pleased with it so far. We all have good (and there are 4 of us) connections throughout our house and outside. We also have our TV and laptops connected with no breaks or interuptions.

Works as it should and easy to set up. Would recommend this unit

This is a a great product. My family and I have seen a great improvement over the provided Comcast router/modem. We would loose connection or the speed would slow considerably. With the new router/modem we get great speed amd much better wifi distance connection.

We have had no problems with this at all. Does anything that we need plus more from use xbox gaming using fire boxes and phone and has not lagged with all these going at same time. Thank you Bestbuy person that helped me get what we needed.

Cable company tried to talk me out of buying my own citing it may not work or it may break down. Still works great and I'm already ahead of the game cost wise. Very easy to install.

Router/ cable modem overall runs just fine. Only problem I have is it identifies itself as a completely different router so the nighthawk app is useless with it. It does however link nicely with the standard netgear app. I really like the fact you can access it’s features remotely on my smart phone to control its features.

I wanted something to replace Xfinity box and save money in the long run so after looking online and asking friends what they recommend I got this nighthawk modem/router and I'm very satisfied. I think it's better than the Xfinity rental one.

I was amazed to get 85mbps plus speeds at every corner of my 1000 sq feet house. I have been told by sevaral customer care reps that wifi never works better than LAN and that ill always get 50% or less speeds on wifi. but this product gives 110+% of the connection speeds...

Perfect for my residence. Easy to set up. I have no problems with speed and I have multiple devices using it at the same time - laptop, phone, tablet and streaming tv. Have not had any problems since setting it up in December.

This is a must add for Time Warner customers. Its a lot better than the rental. Plus you save money in the long losing the rental fee in the process. Please note if you have VOIP through Time Warner you must keep the old router and it will be dedicated VOIP for your home phone services

Set up was a breeze. Once finished you have to make sure to call you internet provider so that they can complete the process from their end. They will ask you for the info on the router. This process took about 15-20 min.

Easy to use and setup. Speed seems to be fast as advertised

This is by far the best router I have ever purchased. I have Comcast Xfinity internet service and the router performs flawlessly. I am able to stream and use multiple devices with no slow down in speed or performance. Great product that I would highly recommend to others.

This is a typically good router from Netgear. Something we didn't like was having to install an app on our phone just to configure the router. We always used to be able to use a PC to connect, not anymore.

Great product works fine for my internet service and you can also use it on any cable service. In the setup was easy plus you also have tech support I would recommend this is well!!!
