I don't know much about Routers but I've been looking for a new one to replace the one that I received/rented from TWC (Time Warner Cable), and it's a lot better. I couldn't tell you any specs or any hardcore tech info, but I can tell you it's a far better choice.

My old router was dropping wifi, speeds deteriorated rapidly while working from home during the pandemic. Purchased this modem/wireless router combo and haven't had an issue yet. The speeds have been outstanding also.

The NETGEAR - Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router with 24 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - Black was a Good Purchase. I own it. Don't have to pay rent on one. I recommend it. After over a year, I've had no trouble.

Been using it for last 2 years and have absolutely no complaints. Much better than paying per month to my internet company for a rental which I would have to return when service ends! Would highly recommend.

I was looking to reduce clutter and cable bill. With simple set-up and better performance than my older router this was no brainer. Tech said I'd get better performance with separate router with adjustable antennas. But my house isn't that big, so this performs fine.

I was looking for better wifi experience when my old router died, this gave me 5 bars in rooms where i only had 1 or 2

excellent product, easy to install, make sure to select the 5g connection option instead of the 2g option, because it is faster. But it is shorter range than 2g, just move the router closer to where you sit will work.

I have Xfinity/Comcast and am tired of the high cost of being their customer. I decided to buy my own modem/router and stop paying rent on theirs. It worked perfectly and I had it installed and activated in under 30 minutes. Works great!

I have relied on Netgear routers for several years and they have yet to let me down. Performance is solid and tech support is there when you need it. I will continue to purchase Netgear products, especially when they are on sale.

Works OK with W.O.W. Use an online chat with Best Buy support and this was recommended as a all-in-one mode/router/wifi device. Set up with W.O.W. went smoothly without incident. Wifi speed is faster and more steady than before. Connecting devices to new wifi network was easy and went smoothly. My first time connection to the device admin page was through wifi and it went smoothly. I liked that I as forced to provide a password with security questions the first time I viewed that admin page. I also needed to provide the serial number as part of this initial viewing of the admin page. I think this is to provide a fallback way to access the admin page if I ever forget the password.

Very good signal fast internet and work perfec with xfinty

It is good. I was able to put it together with a little help from the call in number.

Wanted to upgrade my home network, after looking at a few different options I went with the Nighthawk, it’s delivering as expected, fast and reliable, I have it paired with my Fios router as the back bone of my network

Easy to eat up, has security most would want. The broadcast is good, picks up well with devices. Seems to work well with the speed of my internet

Purchased this modem when switching to new internet carrier two months ago. It has performed well and I am pleased with it. It sits well on the desk and does not look out of place with the other equipment in it's location.

connected the router, called xfinity to register, and internet and wifi works immediately. speed test results were excellent. wifi works fine in our 5,000 sq ft lot (inside the house and outside). router was place right in the center of the house.
