My comcast rep suggested this Router/modem for higher speeds, for home/business. It's very affordable, easy to install and I don't have to pay anything for it monthly. On top of that, the RANGE is INSANE!!! They were really on point with this!!!

I read the reviews and made the purchase of the AC1900. Initially I wired it directly to the Comcast box outside and ran it from there as the coax going into the house was severed and reattached to a DirectTV antenna. I purchased new coax for the missing link which routed the coax from Comcast to a connector in the living room. At this point, I thought I was done but the results were not good. The NETGEAR solution would sometimes connect to the internet and other times it wouldn't. I had ordered the Comcast combo as well but planned to return it right away. A long story short, the Comcast solution never hooked up to the internet, Comcast came out and ended up replacing the splitters outside. Apparently, they're not compatible with the frequencies used by Comcast. Who would have known? The NightHawk AC1900 has been rock solid from that moment on.

Our router was a few years old and struggling to keep up with our internet speeds, so we decided to upgrade to this. We read the reviews and it lives up to the hype. Meets all of our needs and it looks sharp too. Definitely feel like we got our money's worth!

Took the net gear modem/router out of the box, connected everything up called COX to connect and haven't had a problem since. My phones, TV and computers are all connected and the signal is throughout the house. I would recommend this product

Easy setup, didn't take long before I was back on line. Works as advertised.

After having two Router/Modems from our cable company burn out in less than a two year time frame, we decided to buy our own. We have had great luck with this one and it works perfectly with our 300 mbps internet!

Easy to set up and works great! ALso easy to manage from the Netgear app that accompanies this router.

I purchased this as I couldn't see paying a monthly rental fee from TWC. It will definately pay for itself and I'll be able to use it if I changed providers. It was very easy to setup and every room in the house is getting great connections, including out in the garage.

We bought this as a back-up router, based on the recommendation of the Best Buy sales associate who helped us. We might have chosen this one on our own ... it was on our short list ... but the associate clarified some of the reasons favoring this model over the others that had caught our interest. That said, we plugged in it, got our Internet provider to provision it, and away we went. I liked the built-in OpenDNS facility, which I feel gives us a bit more security. There are two apps available to help configure this router, and I have yet to determine why you would use one rather than the other, but once it's set up there shouldn't be too much tinkering, right?

Purchased this so I wouldn't have to "rent" equipment from my internet service provider. This is a great option for anyone on a a budget. It is easy to setup and allows for easy monitoring and control for families.

I purchased this Router/Modem after my prior router failed over a period of time. I purchased the NetGear because of the speed and number of channels. The router sends Mbps to my lap top at the same speed as with the Ethernet cable. I received all the speed I pay for.

Works great! Fast speed. No major problems so far. Set up was tricky, but best buy provided assistance for that.

I really like the stand up router/modems and prefer to set them on a shelf on a wall so they are up and out of the way. Our internet speeds increased big time once we upgraded to this awesome device. Best bang for your buck.

I bought 2 of these. One for my father, and one for my father-in-law. I was tired of poor signal and pathetic speed on the modems that their providers gave them. This thing had been rock solid. No complaints.

I know am the proud owner of a QUALITY DUAL BAND router that truely meets my needs. I have a 5G signal for my laptop and 2.5G for cell phone tablets. No more problems, no more interuptions. Handles the top end speed from my ISP with out hesitation. Easy setup

We bought this router/modem because we were having to reset the unit from the cable company constantly and boy am I happy we did, in fact I should have done it sooner! We couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Used this with Spectrum service and it installed quickly and puts out a strong signal. The installer said this was "another tier up" from what they provide. Works as intended and I don't have to pay a rental fee from the ISP
