I wanted an upgrade from the TWarner provided modem/router, did research, and picked Netgear's Nighthawk 1900. Install was simple, then called TW to activate. BAM! Doubled my Mbps. Don't expect anything close to 1900. That's a joke, right? But it's twice as good as anything the Company will provide.

If you're a serious gamer this is the only choice for extra storage. Has a separate power supply for less stress on you're already molten lava hot XBox. Well worth the money compared to other storage options. Simple install.

After 2 years renting from cable company outdated product and mediocre WiFi, purchased this modem. It appeared to be a good mid level product. Arrived today and only had to call cable company for activation with account, rest took few minutes to set up. Internet great all but one room, acceptable for streaming that room at most distant room in house over 2000 sq ft. Best part, got rid of extender to simplify life. Netgear makes a good product, feels a bit fragile vs. 2015 product it replaces.

I replaced an outdated Modem with this one for a family member. Their Internet speeds increased and they are very happy.

Replacement for Comcast rental unit. It does a great job and no rental fee.

This piece of equipment takes up less room than have in two different boxes. It also save you from paying extra on your bill for rental equipment.

This was a replacement for an old router and modem that weren't working right and kept resetting themselves. Bought this one based on research and reviews and haven't had a problem ever since--our connection is trouble-free.

I started looking for a new modem because my older one, also a Netgear, was beginning to give me troubles (wi-fi signal would drop, had to reset the device, and then the problem would come back the next day or in a couple of weeks). I chose the Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 because of the number of devices it stated it could handle and the very good reviews I saw in Best Buy and Amazon. So far it has not disappointed. Signal is strong across the entire house (one-story) with multiple devices connected and no issues. It is also more sturdy than the previous one and has 4 ethernet connections on the back.

Bought this time because I’m a fan of having the best items you can have and the Netgear is one of the best out there plus was Tired of paying rent every month on the router from xfinity

I hired someone to install as too complicated for me. Once installed, works great.

I purchased this NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Router with DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem to replace an old one and it works much better with more square footage.

Purchased to eliminate Xfinity equiptment rental charge. Works great for our range of 1500 sq feet.

This Nighthawk is dead on what we needed. I have had it for four months without any problems or any reboots needed!

Worth the price and works perfectly well with optimum. The set up was easy. Although you do still have to call optimum so that they can update the MAC address and what not.

If you want the best combo for your internet get this. Works best, but make sure you get a warranty just in case.

Awesome cable wifi modem, does all high speed and got them to price match, so saved another $60 off retail price. Even the tech for cox customer service was impressed!!!

I paid for rental on a Comcast modem/router for so long I could have bought 5 of these! still going good. besides number of devices Im not pushing this real hard.

Easy to install, great product for my household and right price

This is the perfect WiFi setup. The built-in modem makes a big difference, especially when you are replacing the junk modem that your Internet provider give you. This thing runs all of my family's devices flawlessly.

My internet provider support tech recommended 3 combo products to replace a modem that needed multiple times per day resetting. I reviewed online & selected this one. Installation was easy and no problems so far.
