I needed a modem/router to set up my Comcast home network. This was exactly what I needed, quick and easy to set up.

I purchased the Netgear - Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router with 24 x 8 DOCSIS with hopes it would be as good as the Comcast/Xfinity Cable Modem/Router I was renting from Comcast. Once I ensured that the coax was screwed in tightly, I haven't looked back. I'm getting slightly faster download speeds that I was with the rental which has since been returned. Sure, it will take nearly two years to recoup the cost, but I think it was worth it.

Using this router modem combo with xfinity internet service. It works great and the price was good.

I have use nethear routers and the set is easy just follow the steps. I ahve 200mbs internet running smooth through wifi and ethernet.

This item is a little high in price but we have had it for a month and so far no issue. We like to have fast internet and this keeps up great with all the devices we have hooked to it.

Quality modem with quick and easy installation. Works great. Saves me money in the long run!

great product for the price, it was super easy to set up

After buying a separate modem and router from Netgear, I called their tech support line, due to connectivity trouble. Turns out that is was the cable provider. While in the process of trouble shooting the problem, the Netgear rep. advised me to return the more expensive Netgear equipment and purchase the Nighthawk AC1900.. I followed the advice and have been very happy with the purchase.

I should have purchased this years ago. The amount of money i would have saved at approximately $40.00 on monthly rental was staggering. Cable bill was approximately $40.00 less than last month. Lesson learned.
