Excellent modem for wifi. Never had an issue. Wifi never drops.

Ive had this for 3 years now and love it still. Zero issues or complaints, works very fast, and was simple to set up. I absolutely recommend this to someone looking to upgrade to a good router.

I love the Netgear because It is super fast and easy set up and app monitoring and troubleshooting which makes it most efficient and very reliable and warranty covered.

We needed something that would be compatible with Comcast Xfinity and this was it! This was even on sale! Our Motorola croaked and this was a great not to mention much faster upgrade. Highly recommend it. They even have passwords for the device that you can remember instead of a 26 character password that takes 10 minutes to type in for every device you want to connect. What a novel idea!

This actually works like it should, I have been using the xfinity modem they supplied and the signal was in and out all the time and for 10.00 a month that isn't cutting it to lease it. So I purchased this and set it up in 10 minutes and my speeds have been steady and constant and I don't have drop outs anymore either. Wifi tests at 124-125mbps. Best decision I could have made. Beware it is pricey however it is well worth it. My plan is the extreme 105

Me: My gateway keeps rebooting. Xfinity: You're gateway is from 2018 and needs to be replaced. 24 hours and a trip to the Comcast Service Center later. Me: I just picked up a new gateway and it won’t activate online. Xfinity: You’re gateway is from 2015 and needs to be replaced. Had Netgear connected and activated in less than 30 minutes. Finally getting the 350Mbps I’m paying for and my WiFi Connection’s are much faster with better range.

If you have Comcast (Xfinity) and you're wanting to ditch the monthly equipment rental fee, this is for you. It's decently fast so you're a little future proofed. It is rated for up to 960 MBPS. Just be sure you follow the directions explicitly when setting it up. Totally worth it, glad we purchased it ... and SO MUCH better than the old one we were renting.

I bought a new Router to work better with my Xfinity account. I have increased my speed and this router handles the increase with no problems. No more lag time. I love the fact that you can have 2 different bands to use on TVs, home devices, etc. and still maintain the separate band for computing to keep the speed lightning fast.

Best Router. loved it. Good internet connection. Does not break. You cannot compare with other Routers. Netgear is best overall.

It was time to get a new modem router because my old one was constantly needing to be unplugged and plugged in every other day. Best buy associate helped and told me I couldn't go wrong with this netgear and he sure was right. My WiFi range is now extended with faster speed and don't even need a wifi extender for my two story home which includes over 15 smart devices and the speed does not slow down.

Easiest install ever performed! Unpacked, located in desired area, assured Ethernet cables were adequately long/routed. Called ISP with MAC number that was activated immediately. And the cables transferred, power applied and started connected with new network name and pswd. Total of fifteenish minutes. Speed and service to grandkids iPad(s), iPhones, my PCs, laptops and printers are working beautifully.

Very good signal and great for streaming. Can run multiple devices effortlessly. I bought one for my house several months ago and was so impressed that when my daughters modem-router broke I bought the same one for her. Much cheaper than renting from the cable company. Very high speeds, first channel. A great unit!

I replaced and upgraded a Zoom combo cable modem/wireless router and this was set up/installed in no time over a 15 minute call with Comcast. The improvement was noticed immediately and so well, that we also decided to upgrade our internet package with Comcast. All Xbox players, internet surfers and gadget geeks are happy campers now. No game lagging or slow internet speeds to deal with.

This router was easy to set up and works great with our Xfinity cable internet. Recommended for everyone from beginner to advanced user. After using it for two weeks it has been dependable and capable. Buy this instead of renting a gateway from the internet provider and save money in the long run.

This router gives me more range in my home (2 floors) than the ones from the cable company. I've had it for a couple of years now and had zero issues with it at all. Setting it up was easy and it's been care-free since then. If you're renting your modem from the cable guys, stop. Just buy this and save the monthly fee. It'll pay for itself many times over...
