I wanted something that would replace my older modem and router setup after the router died. I didn’t see the point of renting a gateway from Comcast when I could own it outright. The speeds are great and I’ve not had a problem with connectivity since I installed the gateway. The Genie app is also a handy little tool.

First one worked for about a week then not at all. Brought it down to my local Best Buy and they replaced it with a new unit. Great customer service and the new one works great so far. Only been a month but no problems so far with the second unit. 4 stars since the fist died in a week or so, otherwise would be 5.

This router made a huge difference in internet speeds. My old spectrum router kept going off on my iPhone and on multiple devices. Now with this one, it doesn't have that issue anymore. Easy to set up, just call Spectrum or your internet provider so they can approve of the new router.

Excellent replacement for cable company modem / router. Now I can reach our whole house which is a vast improvement. With this router, I did not need to go to a mesh system. Saved a few hundred therefore on the upgrade. Highly recommended.

I bought this after my older netgear was starting to break down after more than 5 years of use. I prefer buy router/modem in one rather than separately. The speed and range is so much better than what I'm used to, as I would have expected.

Out of the box, connect in minutes, easy set up with the help of netgear tech. Help and the few minutes to get recognize by cable provider, the unit out performs the unit I was renting from cable supplier. It only took about 20 minutes. Out of all the netgear units I've owned this was right up there in ease of set up and performs was tops.

I am very happy with this modem/router. I had a separate modem/router before and my wifi was horrible. I was lucky to get 25mbps and that was after rebooting. Netflix would drop out all the time. With this one I consistently get above 60 Mbps on my iPad and 100 Mbps on my iMac wireless. I haven't tried wired on the iMac. Netflix doesn't dropout anymore so I'm happy.

So far this has been great and fixed prior issues experienced with another brand router/modem combo. I have Spectrum 200 mbps. You will just have to call them and have then add it to your account. Don't believe then when they say it's only a minimally qualified product and may not work.

Great! Suits the area for which it was purchased. I'd buy it again, if another one is needed.

Finally got fed up with the Time Warner rental fee, I investigated several and with the help of the associate landed on this one. Blazing fast allowed me to remove my range extender, and will pay for itself with my savings. I would highly recommend. One note, it does not support TWC phone service, so if you use that, this may not be the one for you.

My modem/router was ten years old and just not cutting it anymore and I didn't want to spend $350 for one with all of the bells and whistles. This one got a thumbs-up from one of the Best Buy sales guys. It works great and is lightning fast and it was easy to set-up. Everything I needed for half the price.

This is a smoking Cable Modem. I get the speeds that I'm supposed to get from the cable company since I replaced their equipment with my own. It almost never needs to be rebooted unlike my refurbed modem from the cable company and never disconnects. Great product.

Great product my internet was slow and i had interruptions frequently, but since i got this modem everything is working great streaming 4K without any problems. Easy to install just follow the steps on the manual.

Our previous cable modem was six years old and the Nighthawk had been a significant leap in reliability. We have a six family household and now everyone can use their devices at the same time with no dropped or slow wifi connection. Setup was easy and integration with my existing equipment was intuitive. Definitely, recommend this router.

Fast modem speed for in home. Needed something that would be able to handle several devices while the new norm of working from home. That it does. We never have connectivity issues.

Excellent for a large home … over 6K sqft! The signal is not spotty w multiple devices used in the house w 6 users .
