I used to think my local isp sucked, now I realize it was just the cheap cable modem they leased me. Since I got my nighthawk, I have no connection or speed issues. Even during peak usage hours. If you're thinking about getting your own cable modem, do it. It's well worth it.

Just hooked it up yesterday when I added 400Mbs service. So far so good except I have only had 90 meg measurement up to this point and that's wired. Wireless I'm maxing at 40. I can't blame the product on the signal coming in from outside. It is Saturday and a holiday weekend. I will monitor and log my speeds to make sure I am getting something for the extra 20 bucks a month I am paying while making sure this unit is doing it's job. The 50% dip when measuring wireless is a little disturbing. I'm working on some settings adjustments that I only recommend to people who know what they are doing. I did have to call Spectrum to get it connected to the internet but that was quick. The app you download for it wouldn't work. In the end, setup was easy on an existing account.

I bought this router because I was having internet problem in my apartment, it did everything I wanted. I could look at the log files and see when my provider was dropping the bandwidth and it has a lot of great function and it is a very fast router. Very Happy.......

This is a great bang for your buck! Very easy to log into and customize settings and pays for itself in less than a year if you’re renting from an internet provider. Plus there are noticeable speed increases from my xfinity provided router.

The electronics Best Buy sells are of good quality, and I am delighted with the product. Also, the associate that help me with my transaction was awesome. I will recommend Best Buy to all my friends!

Very happy with this. It was suggested by a friend and definitely boosted my speeds. Its very easy to use and makes sure you get true speeds unlike the rented device you get from your carrier that seems to throttle your speed.

Regardless of your internet provider, the Nighthawk by Netgear is the best modem you can get. Easy to set up and the 24x8 channel always sets me up with the fastest with the auto option. Security for your main wifi as well as your guests and can make the password separate.

I learned that my previous Motorola modem could not handle the 100 MPs Xfinity speed nor could my router. The Netgear Nighthawk had the capability plus I got a rebate from Best Buy for turning in my old router. The set up went smoothly without a problem. I’m pleased and happy.

This product was easy to set up and works at a faster speed than my old router. Unfortunately, I had to evacuate ahead of a hurricane and my power is still out.

I was hesitant at first because of the price, but you do get what you pay for. It was easy to set up, speed is fantastic. We are now able to connect 3 TVs, 2 laptops, 4 tablets, and 4 phones in a 3400sq ft home/two floors with no problem.

This was a perfect experience for a modem with router but I forgot I already had a router at home.

Could not have made a better purchase for the money. Works fast and minimal interruption during peak times.

This is the best router I have ever had, works in all three rooms with 2000 sq ft no issues. Customer service was amazing.

After much research I decided to go with this gateway/router combo and it has worked as advertised for my comcast service. Super easy setup and other than having to call Comsat to give them the router model and serial number, took about 10 minutes to be up and running.

Set up was a piece of cake. Easy restoration after power outage. So much better than modem/router provided by my ISP!

I like the combo of this router and modem that is so much better than the Spectrum one....The loading speeds are now what is paid for as well as downloading..It was a very easy connection as I use a wired one and my wife uses wireless...I am very happy that we bought it at Best Buy

Setup for the rooter was so easy. The instruction and step to set it up were very simple to follow and was running in no time. I'm no computer expert and i was able to get it done. I personally love the look of the it and the performance that it had once hooked up.

Range is best I've ever used with our 2 story home. Set-up was very simple and I'm not tech savvy by any means. Xfinity tech said he always recommends this gateway when customers ask him for a good recommendation. Two thumbs up for me, don't let the price persuade you from buying.

Extremely satisfied with it's performance, it was painless to activate with Spectrum although it was not listed as part of their approved models which for the most part were obsolete or at the end of their life cycle.

I am an xFinity customer and this router works well for me. No issues.
