I bought this in August, and at first, it worked fine, but about 2 1/2 months after purchasing, it started to freeze up, drop Wi-Fi connections, and I was having to reboot it 5 times a day. I work from home and so I need a reliable modem and did not want to lease from Comcast. I have bought netgear modems before. The NetGear customer support is horrible and a scam. So you get 90 days complimentary support. And a year warranty on parts. I contacted their support witihin the 90 days, and so a ticket was opened, they wanted screen shots, then I would send them if I could get them because half the time I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi or internet to work to get the screenshots, and the final thing said was try a Comcast modem and see if that works after reading the screenshot. Okay, I told them, and they closed the ticket and that was after the 90 days warranty period is over. So I called them to tell them another modem works. I have to pay for technical support now. They said it’s a new issue and they can’t reopen a new ticket and the complimentary period is over. In researching this and other netgear models, there is a firmware update that netgear knows about that they can push out to you, but you can’t do it yourself. So they wait until they can charge you the fee to “fix” it by doing the firmware update. Buy the warranty with Best Buy if you want to take your chances with this piece of crap modem. I am glad I did. They should investigate Netgear because I feel it’s a scam to get more money. They shouldn’t even sell them.

Took the advise from Best Buy staff that using Modem and Router combined is better than using Spectrum..Picture quality streaming using Roku is very good.

Best router for the money Highly recommended if your TV company is charging you for a router every month

I bought this to replace my old cable model as I was getting max 20 mbps download but with this AC1900 I get 180 Mbps! So happy with the product.

It works wonders in a three story building. I play PlayStation in the basement and it works great, I Stream TV on the Top floor and it does great.

I can't believe how this router handles all the traffic in my house. At least 5 devices are connected to the internet at all times and the router doesn't skip a beat!

Needed a new router as my old router was about 10 years old. No complaints with the purchase, it works great!

invested in this router rather than rent from Cable Company. Greater power and better reception on the second level of my home. Very happy.

Replaced a broken wired mouse with this wireless model. Works perfectly, comfortable in the hand, and responds quickly to every required motion. Happy I bought this.

Had this ModemRouter combo for a week and it worked flawless would recommend unless your are gaming on WiFi 20ft or farther signal gets weak!!

This is a great device. It has a small footprint and easily fits on the desk without taking up too much room.

We needed to replace our wireless router. Xfinity recommended several different brands and models. Although not the most economical choice this router had aeveral key features. Both USB connections, Ethernet cable and 3 different Hz bands.

I wanted to replace my Xfinity modem so that I don't have to pay them 15$ every month, and the Netgear product does the job.

Overall isn't not totally bad. The nighthawk app requires firmware 1.03. Spectrum and other providers only have V1.02 so it won't work. Box says it works with Spectrum and the modem itself will work but not mobile/app. If you want to control away from home, this is not the combo for you.

Good ideam just takes time to set up set up could be more user friendly

I am enjoying my Netgear Router. I have had no problems as of yet, and don't expect to have any. This Router works well for the small apartment that I have.

Item seems good except for keeping the wifi on line.' It keeps going out every few days.

Works great. Would buy again if need it.Not too big in size

Although it is little expensive, I have got this product very useful. Never experienced any downtime with this router.

We bought a new 65” TV but our WIFI wasn’t getting enough signal to run Netflix and Amazon Prime so we bought this from Geek Squad and now we have no issues.
