The box says they maintain regular speed even through traffic hours but that’s just partially true it’ll still slow down but not as much so I can’t really complain. Aside from that the modem works great they put out the speeds you pay for as well as great range haven’t discovered any dead zones.

I bought this cable-modem to avoid the rental fees of the Xfinity modem they supply when you first signup. So far it's been great, easy to setup, fast speeds, strong signals throughout the house.

I pay for 150mg of Cable internet, but had never had speeds over 70 megs, even with my own router. I took a chance on this and my download speed is over 170. Range is better throughout the house and yard. Totally worth it.

I have Comcast internet and it replaces perfectly the router/modem that I rented from Comcast for almost two years. It works great if you do not plan to have a VOIP phone line.

I really needed a compatible modem for Comcast, and this is one of the best ones out there. There are three PS4's in the house that all connect to it, and there's no problem streaming or playing online simultaneously.

Got this for my parents to stop their monthly Comcast rental fee. They have a long ranch and it sends WiFi into the yard all around the house. Reaches much further with faster speeds than the Comcast rental equipment .

This modem & router is compatible to use with the Ultimate 300 (fastest) Internet speed package via Time Warner to eliminate their monthly modem rental fee. If you also subscribe to TWC digital phone service, there's no Phone Jack on this model (or any others in retail) but the simple solution is a splitter for coax with one coax to the TWC's modem for Phone Service only. Their monthly rental fee still gets waived because you're now using this Netgear modem for Internet service.

I had issues with ancient Linksys router. It kept dropping service and was only giving me 0.5mb/s. I have not lost the wifi signal yet after a month and I am now getting what I am paying for from my ISP in terms of download speeds .

I have always liked Netgear routers and WiFi gateways. They deliver as promised, are easy to set up, and trouble free. The Nighthawk delivers outstanding range and excellent bandwidth. Streaming movies and online gaming are a breeze.

Easy set up. Using with Comcast Xfinity internet. So far so good...Haven't had to reset it yet (been 2 months). Also haven't had to use signal extender for 3rd floor of townhome like I did with previous, cheaper, Arris router.

This Router is by far the best one I have ever acquired, and completely blows it's competition out of the water. It is a Modem and Router Combo so you only need one device for both jobs. It also has capabilities of creating up to 4 networks, so you can put different devices on different networks, IE (the kids on their own network, the teenagers on their own, the adults, and also a guest network). doing all this without splitting up bandwidth. It is good for up to 5000 ft, and i can be on my tablet and iPad in the corner of my backyard and still be connected. It is well recommended, and my cable technician was actually the person that recommended this device to me for what i was needing. Thanks to him and also Best Buy for always beating the competition with great prices and excellent customer service.

I absolutely love this gateway. Works with my provider (spectrum), and provides great speed and connectivity.
