I have to say the set up was pretty easy. I am not all that technical but once I called my provider it was smooth sailing. I like the compact size which does not take up a lot of space. Have a two story home, this router provides good coverage. 5Ghz band has good speed but coverage not as good as 2Ghz. No problems connecting with Time Warner cable.

This modem / router has great speeds and area coverage. Easy installation and connects easy to wireless devices. Simple setup.

I switched to Time Warner and I have the 100 Mbps plan. I wanted to have room to upgrade and this did the trick. It was easy to set up and works great.

Easy setup, eliminates having two separate boxes, and handles fast internet streaming on multiple devices. Long range connectivity as well.

This router/modem has convinced me that routers aren't supposed to give out every once in a while and that it's not normal to reset a router whenever there's a connection problem. It's given me no issues and the download speeds it provides are amazing. When I do have connection issues, I never question the router anymore because it works so well. Even the Nighthawk app is pretty cool and easy to understand too!

So far so good. Easy setup and very reliable so far. Seems to handle all the electronics in my house. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I have a 2700 sq ft house and the WiFi signal is good everywhere. I haven't had any router that has had as good WiFi coverage through the whole house like this one. It loses one star because in it's simplicity, the interface is crippled. Parental controls require you to install the Netgear app, and won't let you set them via the web app, which makes no sense at all. Parental Controls also require an Open DNS account, which is an added step. Also, it takes extra configuration to apply parental controls to just selected devices, meaning by default they are set for every computer. Setting parental schedules to limit usage are also difficult. Just a poor, non-intuitive controls system.These are all things i have been able to do on other routers very easily. In a nutshell, if WiFi coverage is most important and you don't need parental controls, I highly recommend this. If you want simple, easy to use parental controls, consider if you want to use OpenDNS as well...and even then it's not great.

Excellent! Works with Xfinity! Easy to install. Just remember to change the WiFi to the Netgear WiFi and it’s password.

It was super easy to setup and works great with my Xfinity service. I love it, will worth the money!!
