This works great for me! Purchased this to replace a little surfboard and separate router because I was not getting the internet speed I was paying for. Now I get 100mb speeds consistently and I connect a bunch of different devices to the internet. Works great with my Comcast internet, I would recommend owning one of these over a little surfboard or even worse, renting from your internet provider.

This router/modem was a HUGE upgrade from the modem I was leasing from Comcast at the time. So much faster. I have owned it for some time now, and have had zero issues with it. In my house we usually have at least one person xbox gaming and another streaming hi def TV at the same time, plus all our phones/tablets/computers are on the wifi. Still super fast. Would definitely recommend.

I started out at the cable company's store, trying to find a modem/router that was faster and had a stronger wireless signal than the default one they gave me when I became a customer. No luck, so I went across the street to Best Buy, where they had several from which to choose that all had better specs than my current one. This one from Netgear had everything I wanted. When I got it home, the installation and configuration was fast and easy. I now have faster wireless internet and the signal reaches everywhere in my house. Highly recommended!

Seems to do its job well, making connection with Comcast/Xfinity's changed service. As just a link in the chain, it is inconspicuous. Setup of the device was simple, much less fussy than the app required for Comcast setup.

Step up was quick and easy. And so far we haven’t had any issues with staying connected

ok, so this is a bit more expensive that some other options, but if you have a large house/office and have coverage issues, say hello to your savior! I had a cable tech tell me this would solve my problems GUARANTEED, and he was 100 with that advice. I had struggled for over a year at my new house where the wifi came in to the basement and even with expensive extenders, coverage basically did not exist on top floor... now I have full FAST coverage. Worth the money if you have tried other routers but still not good coverage,

Easy to setup and works great. Able to connect all of the TVs and computer devices with a strong signal.

I decided to upgrade several household items in my home to be smart e.g. google home, HUE, Ring, etc. which places a heavy load on the internet connection. The great feature about this router/modem is the ability to handle 10+ wifi devices without dropping them. In addition, the devices can be both 2.4GHZ or 5GHZ and this device is competent enough to keep assign the appropriate frequency. I highly recommend this product

my old combo router lost signal strength at 15 to 20 feet i would get dropped i needed a good strong signal for wifi calling since my provider is useless in my apartment after reading reviews i went with this unit GLAD I DID this unit was simple to install wifi is excellant improved laptop speeds and are way more stable i watched my cell bars while leaving my Apartment i drove out and at 150 feet or so my bars started to drop YOU WONT GO WRONG BEST COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS I SPENT SO FAR THIS YEAR!!!

Very impressed with the quality of the build. This item worked flawlessly from the start. Was able to quickly configure this item to the 5 GigaHertz band (as opposed to the default 2.4 GH). Called Comcast to verify they could properly identify this unit to include their release of NetGear's latest firmware, which they identified without my leading them to what it should be. Great bang for the buck at a regular price!

Bought this instead of renting from Xfinity. So far it’s been great, items pays for itself within a year. Fast speed and great coverage.

Old modem was buffering so decided it was time to upgrade. Have not had 1 issue. Many devices online at once.

Pretty good router/modem. We had some slowness with our our Motorola Surfboard/Google system and this sped things up a little. It's not life changing but faster than the standard system you get from the cable company and a Google wifi. The software isn't quite as simple as others but it's manageable through the phone. Range is excellent and goes throughout the house easily, and into the backyard and onto the street in front of the house, and we have a very long driveway. Probably the best feature.

This router / cable modem works great for Time Warner Cable. Setup is very easy and saves money on TWC monthly rental fee. Great product!
