    I was having some issues working from home with my old ISP router and modem combo. Used to get kicked off just long enough for certain systems to reboot. No longer have that issue with this router! Have had this for quite awhile and it’s never failed. It’s nice to be able to reboot the router from the app on your phone too if your router is not in a convenient location.

    I was a little concerned about using an own modem because it might be as easy as saying 'Your modem, your fault.' for Xfinity. However, it was very easy to setup and when I changed my contract in the Xfinity store the other day, the agent typed in the data of the modem, so I didn't need to activate it again. So I somehow feel that's also pretty accepted by Xfinity and I feel convinced that this was a good decision. Hope it'll work as long as required to pay for itself.

    Definitely boosted speed and range but not quite as well as had hoped. (About 30%?) Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Good product so far.

    Easy to set up. Was online and secure with no problems. Able to control who uses wifi and block ones not wanted online. Best Buy sales person recommended this and it worked as he said it would.
