Easy to set up and works with Time Warner Cable and the range covers my whole house without any issues.

The Good: Installation to get up and running quickly was a snap. In fact, we switched to Cox Cable (yes, it works with Cox Cable), and the technician got it going for me. It took him about 10 minutes (this includes opening the package). The dual band seems to be quite an advantage, since my house is definitely the crowned "WIFI King" in our neighborhood (7 tablets, 2 smartphones, ChromeCast, Firestick, Roku, and more). If WIFI doesn't work, we sit in a dark corner and mope :) The BAD: Advertised as acting as a DLNA server. I guess it's programmed for such, but getting it to work, and remain stable was a lost cause. I have another media drive that can do the same (uses Twonky), and it has been in service for quite a few years, and remains rock solid. The Nighthawk simply gave up the ghost on this feature, and I haven't had the hours available necessary to try and get it working properly. On the surface, this feature seems easy and straightforward, but the truth is, it fails miserably at acting as a media server. However, overall, I would say it's primary purpose to act as a speedy provider of internet service throughout the house - it does this extremely well. I have an old house with thick walls, and I'm able to get reception all over (2600 sq ft). I do utilize a repeater at the far (opposite) end of the house to carry the signal strong enough to reach the backyard (wireless music system for the patio).

We recently decided to replace our cable modem and after much research, decided on the Netgear nighthawk AC1900. At first I was afraid that this modem would not provide sufficient coverage throughout our home, but I am happy to say that I was completely wrong! The spec details mention coverage for 1900sq ft but it covers so much more. Highly recommend!

I love this router!!! My previous router was in its last leg, and I needed to replace it badly. This router is well above the previous router's capabilities, and is easy to setup. I love the fact that I can turn off different ports or wireless connections from the admin page. It helps to make sure the kids are doing their homework first.

Good combo modem/router with compatibility upto 800 MBps though my service speed is below that, but wanted one with better speed for future use. Dual band helps you to separate the devices based on the location etc. Very satisfied with both wired and Wifi options and proposing to buy another one for a family member.

Netgear is a fast, realizable, top of the line módem. As good as I expected. First my news. I get great speeds. There are no delata or interrupions since I started using it. No more problems surfing the net. It is one of the best purchases I have made in electronic devises. I can say anyone can consider it a good purchase.

Unit was easy to install and set up. It operated much better the the comcast unit I was renting.

The Netgear box was a big improvement over the previous box I had. Internet speeds and range inside my house improved by at least 3X.
