Bought this when our Comcast rented modem crapped out. Easy set up and loving the faster speed though just an FYI if you have Comcast while they no longer charge for a rental they do tack on an extra fee for faster speed so they get you one way or the other.

Easy to hook up and has worked great with no issues.

Works great. I was having issues with my separate modem and router where the router kept resetting itself. I tried a new modem and router separately and still had issues. I tried buying this all in one unit and it solved the problem. I recommend this modem/router.

I finally had enough of paying the monthly fee for the Xfinity router and purchased this one. Super easy to install, it came with great instructions! I'm not really tech savvy, but had no issues setting this up. No issues with connections when kids are gaming and I'm streaming.

After the gamers in our house got disconnected from the game 4 times in 30 min with the "new" Motorola modem a trip to Best Buy was immediate. We brought this modem, set it up, have about tripled the speed and had no more disconnects. This modem gets Jazzhands as 2 thumbs up are not enough.

We purchased this modem to ensure we receive both LAN and WiFi at the top speeds we are paying for with our provider. We have it connected with a Linksys Mesh Metwork to ensure streaming service to our "zoo" of TV, Tablets and Phones. It's working as advertised and then some! It is incredibly stable and fast! A dang good buy!

Instead of renting a router of crap quality..buy your own. This one has impressed me beyond my expectations. Hook up ethernet if possible to tv and say roku or whatever else you want to run and stream without buffering. I recommend this router to anyone.

I was renting equipment from Comcast before purchasing this. I had wifi issues with the Comcast equipment. After switching, I no longer have any wifi issues and I am getting better wired and wireless speeds with this router. All the settings are very easy to use such as changing wireless names and passwords. I am very happy with this purchase.

My old Netgear modem/router only had 2 ethernet connections. This new one has 4 and is a vertical design rather than horizontal. Takes up less space, has internal antennas and was a breeze in setting up.

I was told this would be more than sufficient for what I was looking for and equal to but better quality than my comcast/xfinity router/modem. The set up instructions were non-existant. There was no way I could have done this without calling the company and having a tech walk me through it. I was still confused as the site did not open up as is should have. I was told the internest package I have was more than capable of handling streaming this router/modem and internet package was for gamers and they should run on the 2.4 part of the system yet I constantly get buffering. I don't know if that is Comcast doing it to try and get me to buy a more expensive package from them or the modem. I bought a Roku preimere too. It will only run on the 2.4 part of the system which I did not want and was never told that I needed to buy another Roku system if I wanted that. So all in all, everything is running off the 2.4 part of the system and is buffering which I was told would not happen. So I can not say if it is the product or Comcast internet doing that. What I do get is good quality

If you are trying to save money from router rental this is the best one so far if you’re like me where you don’t really use any Internet for video gaming or any hard-core use this will work out just fine for you . And my house we are only three so are use is very very low I didn’t want to bother buying the two devices and this worked out even better than the one I had before which I was renting

Replaced my comcast modem and this is giving me better speeds and coverage

Nice quality and does a good job. The set up process was a little lacking and confusing. Someone needs to rewrite the set up process as I has Comcast/ xfinity and the instructions to connect did not work. Finally had to contact Comcast thru chat and have them remove my old modem/router MAC address so Comcast could see the new modem/router.

Bought this to replace my aging unit I had before, didn't realize how old it was getting. But the issues I had with the old one are not happening on this, so I knew it was time to replace. Upon doing so I have already recommended it to two others, so I feel this is a very good router/modem!

works a lot better than the 7 yr old router that I had - Had to have an extender before in order to reach from one end of my house to the other(1700 fT), now everyone gets better reception and speed- we also get more reliable streaming service- less drop-outs

Bought this unit to replace one issued by CenturyLink. This one is definitely faster but no more powerful. I have an old, 90-year old house that is solid. The signal, like the modem issued by CenturyLink is spotty upstairs and has a critical dead spot in my niece's room. Has to buy a $40 Net Gear extender unit to get wifi upstairs. About 2 weeks use and no problems except said limited range. Connection speeds and reloads are definitely improved.
