I hadn't used a cable modem for over 10 years as I had satellite TV and phone. I purchased this because I didn't want to rent one from Xfinty. I was amazed at how easy it was to setup (Tech has come long way). I have the 50 MBPS Internet and consistently get 85 to 90 MBPS and this unit will handle much, much more, NO BUFFERING at all and I stream 4K quite a bit. In my opinion this is the best that you can get for the job.

Our old router took a crap. We got this one and it works great. We normally have 4 phones, 2 game systems and 3 tvs hooked to it at all times. My some plays his xbox x on line all the time no lag. It also has controls to turn devices off when its bedtime.

I was getting rid of cable and wanted to upgrade to a faster router so we could stream on multiple tvs abd devices. This was perfect to so i could stop paying monthly fees for renting mediacoms modem. My last router was about 10 years old and not very fast. We have had no issues with speed with this router while streaming on two tvs and using three or 4 other devices at the same time. Really happy with how it works. Was kind of pricey but i would hate to have gotten a cheaper one and been buffering all the time.

Provides more than enough coverage & speed in a 2000 sq foot home. Use of dual SSID (2.4 / 5ghz bands) is a little confusing for older folks ( I set this one up in a 80 yr olds home), and there is no way to run WPA PSK without AES / TPIK. Very small things that won't affect a majority of users.

Xfinity modem rental charge @ $13/month. Do the math- found this one sale which will pay for itself in a short time. Also bought the warranty that included an upgrade for a minor charge should this modem/router come out in a new version. Signal strength and ease of set up are very good. Multiple channels possible. Increased my download speed. I have Blast internet and I'm getting down loads at 150+Mbps wireless and 175 Mbps by directly connecting hardwire to modem.

Easy set up. Works great! Beats renting from cable company.

I got this modem because I was tired of wasting money on renting one from TWC. Every modem from them seemed to just stop working after a few months for no reason. With this modem I haven't had any of these wonky issues. I get my max speed on wifi from anywhere in my home and can even make changes on the fly with my phone with their own dedicated application. This will help me save $120 a year due to the rental fees as well.

I bought this router/modem combo to replace out an older Netgear router and Xfinity modem. Being a Netgear Nighthawk model I knew it would perform, but I've been extremely pleased with the results. My internet speeds have been the fastest I've ever seen and the reaches all the way out to my backyard (about 100 yards) without the range extender I previously needed to use. It's expensive, but the results speak for themselves. I also can now return the Xfinity modem/router and save $10 a month on my bill too!

This is my 3rd Router and 2nd from Netgear. I am blown away with this one. Easy to install and all of my devices recognized it quickly and connected. Comcast/Xfinity had no problem connecting to it as well . The performance on both bands is far beyond what I could have expected. The power and the consistent signal is superb. I am so happy i spent the extra money as I use my internet/wifi all the time and require a strong consistent signal . This device does NOT disappoint.

I cut my cable tv service and returned their rented router/modemn. I replaced it with this router/modemn and it works awesome in my 5400 square foot home. All 3 levels of my home receive a great signal. Makes me sick when I think about how much money I wasted renting a unit. Got this unut on sale and setup was easy. Highly recommend.

The modem/router that came with our internet service was horrible. It only covered about half of our home. This gets signal all the way out into the street and our entire back yard. House is 1800 sq ft. I believe this is rated for 1900, but it seems to go further on 2g. It handles multiple devices very well and sends a very fast connection. The app has really useful features and Netgear has a easy to use back end.

I found this Modem very easy to set up and it's performance, speed and connectivity has been great.

This has been a good purchase in my never ending strive to cut costs. My purchase was to cut my cable costs and it is working. The modem was easy to set up. All my devices connect and perform adequately. I am debating if ai should have spent the extra money on the newest model. The processing and download speeds are sufficient, But I feel I could have benefited from the newer models performance. But with the cost savings in mind it was a good purchase.

I love it! It covers so much more area and it doesn't constantly search for a signal. Thank you.

I just love it.... No complaints, easy to use..... The best route on the market.... Fast speed!!! When i sued to have comcast router it was just to slow now that I bought this router my speed is 2x faster anywhere in my house

I am by no means tech savvy, picked this up for my new place to keep things simple. set up was a breeze, performance has met all my needs. with everything going wifi based these days, I haven't noticed any issues with my multitude of devices all connected.
