My Arris wifi router kept disconnecting me, i'm glad it went faulty after having to return it and upgrading to this. Was getting a 9ms ping, 50mb down with the arris on speedtest and the download speed was not consistent at all to reach 50mb/s. Same service with this modem gets a consistent 1ms ping, and a consistent 89mb/s download speed. Both of these figures are over 5g wifi, my wired connection to desktop is getting simliar speeds, Upload is similar. Very happy with this purchase.

Great alternate router/modem compared to others and cabler service options.

Works as expected for 5G and non-5G purposes. Coverage area is decent for the price in a single two-story home. It seems to be able to handle multiple users in a four-person family doing data-heavy tasks like video streaming for school without issue. The unit is a bit bigger and bulkier than our prior router but not unobtrusively big. Set-up is relatively straightforward if you have owned other Netgear equipment or have a little computer competence.

My internet and WiFi speed have increased. Easy setup and I didn't even need my son to help (:

So far, so good. My previous modem/router was an Arris Surfboard, and lasted exactly 2 years. Hope this one goes at least double that. Wish setup didn't include having to call Xfinity... bummer.

We purchased this router so that we could replace the router we leased monthly from our cable/internet provider. Installation was easy and the product delivers as promised.

We were having trouble with our Comcast router/modem so we decided to give this a try. Haven't had any problems since.

Easy set up. No problems. I've had for a while now and no issues. I bought to update to Docsis 3.0.

Router does the job for the in laws. 2300 square foot house and no coverage issues
