I'm pretty technically adept, but wasted much of a Saturday trying to set up this thing. The setup using the app was not very helpful. It involves bouncing around between the Netgear app, Xfinity app and iPhone settings. When trying to get it to connect to Xfinity, I was caught in an endless admin sign in loop. Eventually, after I finally broke down and called India, it did connect to Xfinity. At a pathetic 30 mbps or slower. It eventually went all the up to 130 mbps (I pay for 400). I was getting 230 mbps on my old ancient modem just before trying to install this device. Netgear said I'd have to call Xfinity about the speed. Before I connected with Xfinity, the Netgear lost the connection and never would reacquire it. Xfinity couldn't help since they were unable to reach it. I put this garbage device back in the box and went back to my 6 year old modem and 10 year old router and instantly started getting 260 mbps. This device clearly doesn't work with Xfinity, though the box says it does. It's going back.

This is my second Nighthawk AC1900. By far the best router I've ever purchased. Pros: -Crazy Wi-Fi range (even connect in backyard) -Never had to restart/reset router (unless service interruption occurs by ISP) -No drop in service -Connected to all wireless devices in the house (2 iPhones, 3 laptops, playstation, xbox, smart TV's, Nest thermostat, iPad, etc.) Cons: -None Would highly recommended for Xfinity customers.

Works with cableone. Handles 2 streaming devices, 4 cell phones and 2 laptops with little lag.

If you're looking forward a mode/router to last a long time with great performance, look no further.

I got tired of losing connectivity with the Cox-supplied modem, and one Cox tech suggested the Netgear. Since I started using it, I haven't lost connection once. Something to consider is that no 3rd party modem/router will supply telephone connections, so if you need a land line, stick with the ISP-supplied modem combo.

Gives you a great performance, the price its good definitely recommend

Upgraded my Comcast modem with this Netgear modem and it does have great speeds with wifi which I liked. the genie app is also nice which gives you control over your network on your phone. The only reason why I am wasn't 100% happy with it was because the range wasn't that much better than the comcast modem/wifi combo nor worth it for the price. I ended up returning it, if my place was smaller it would have been perfect. Would recommend unless you live in a big place.
