This was a good upgrade from what we were using before. We had a personal modem/router years ago that we really liked. We used our cable provider's modem for a couple of years and it was highly inconsistent. After some issues with signal fading in and out, I decided to get this and have no regrets. The signal has been much more consistent and over a larger range. A little pricey but no regrets given the improved performance and connectivity.

I have an X8 Nighthawk as well and all Nighthawk routers perform at a high level. The internet speeds are always consistent and since I live in a large home a Nighthawk router is necessary. My internet speeds can reach up to 500 megabytes a second, and the nighthawk extends the range to every room and maintains the speed.

Always been skeptical of the two in one modems. This thing works great. Doubled my speed instantly and great range on the WiFi.

it's fast, there can be up to four lap tops and pads going at the same time with no noticeable lag. Decent rating and power. It travels through two very dense walls to give two bars of reception. My only complaint is it doesn't have a phone land line connection.

The router is much faster than the old unit and a good price

Recommended by sales staff. I had picked up a different brand for less money but this one was on sale for a few dollars more. Have a two story house snd basement. Works great!!!! Highly recommend this model. Clear and fast Internet.

My OEM cable modem died, replaced it with the nighthawk. Everything is faster - old speeds were ~60/7, now getting ~220/20!! We were supposed to get 200 down, but the old modem never came close. Even home network transfers seem faster. Highly recommended, it's been running now for a couple of months with no crashes or reboots.

I love the Netgear products. This one especially is perfect for my needs. It's a modem & router all in one. I don't need a separate modem & separate router. It is very easy to set up and running. I get a good signal all over the 2,000 square foot house and it works great.

This is one of the best modem router combo. This is the second one that I’ve purchased. You will get the speed that you signed up with your internet provider. The range and signal is also excellent. I highly recommend this unit.

After looking at many routers this was my choice. I purchased this router to use with Xfinity instead of paying the monthly rental fee to Xfinity. Set up was easy, been operating for a couple weeks now and have not had any issues.

I researched and bought Netgear router to replace my xfinity rental router. It was so easy to set up. It look me less than 30 min to set up. The manual is very easy to follow. It has been three week it performs well and really like the performance. I am happy with this product.

After keeping Cox’s Contour modem/router for a couple months -which was terrible-I got this Nethear I’d researched for a while. It is super easy to set up...works with my NAS drive and many devices. No buffering or disconnects. I haven’t had an issue since I hooked it up. Very happy!

Works very well. Working from home, gaming, and streaming is flawless. Range is extremely good.

When I upgraded security devices at my home, I was told I need better internet service. I switched providers & opted to buy my own router instead of my provided by the cable company. I pickeck this router in tg he hope that it would provide great signal strength and reliability. It DELIVERED!

the best router. super easy to set up/troubleshoot, very powerful too and its compatible with Charter! I confess I don't know squat diddly about routers or related hardware in general but I was able to set this up with no issue all by myself.

Combo modem and router replaced one that was 9 years old. Easy setup, works perfectly throughout our home. For streaming and internet access highly recommended.

I'm not an IT savy person by any stretch of the imagination. I was able to follow the directions and call my new provider to get the internet turned on. Worked flawlessly, reaches opposite corner of my house (2600sq ft) on all levels with minimal decrease in signal with NO decrease in performance.

Upgraded from a less powerful unit that was a few years old. This one has really good range, reaching all areas of my house. Always have multiple devices connected and streaming. Works great, with no connection or buffering issues, so far.
