I needed a stronger signal at higher speeds than the standard Comcast modem could provide. I bought this modem and it was plug and play with very minor technological effort.

I had no idea there were 2 in 1 options available. Very glad to have one unit to dust. :) EASY hookup and works great!

It works like it’s supposed to through out my entire house. Very easy to set up. Just wish the signal was a little stronger to increase my range further out to my back yard.

Was worried about the performance but it works great and provides great connection speeds all over my home. Fast and great range.

This was a great bundle deal, but I do not recommend Best Buy in Middletown NY store #461. The fake manager that I dealt with there named Cat is is horrible! I later came to find out after she presented herself to me as the store manager, that she actually was not the store manager! She is a horrible person and did not allow me to return something that I was told by the phone operator at Best Buy on the 800 number that they should do an even exchange for me and she did not allow me to. The operator on the phone wanted to speak to her and she refused to talk to him. Find another Best Buy as this locations customer service is horrendous!!

This purchase was to replace a rental modem/router from xfinity. We installed it in the same location and got faster speed and better coverage.

Bought to replace older router. This one is very easy to set up. We used to have problems with buffering and now everything is fine.

Great coverage after replacing my Comcast modem. Yes this is a router that replaces your Comcast modem. Take the modem back and save yourself $15/month equipment fees. Took me about 10 minutes to setup from opening box to calling Comcast for them to provision the MAC address of the modem. Provisioning took 2 hours, because, well because we are dealing with Comcast. My rep, who was in India, was at home and her kids were singing on a karaoke machine. The best on-hold music ever! No issues with coverage in the house since installing this modem.

When my old router started to die, I decided to step up to a faster combination router/modem. The one I originally selected couldn't be delivered within a reasonable timeline, so I set off to Best Buy. After considering several options, I narrowed things down to the Netgear Nighthawk. Beyond the sleek looks, I already have other Netgear products and understand the quality. This was out of the box, up and running in about an hour. Probably would have been faster for an experienced installer. For a DIY guy that does this every 2-3 years, an hour is acceptable. Hasn't given me any problems at all.

Just got our Nighthawk to replace an Xfinity rental modem/router. It was extremely easy to set up and works great. Now I just have to change all of the network login throughout the house. Thanks for a great product, I should have done this years ago.

Works great. Does provide a speed increase for ac. Nice to have one unit for two items.

Why pay a monthly fee to the cable company when you can buy one that give you a stronger signal and longer range... My wife is always on wifi around the house and so far no weak of dead spots like she had with the one the cable company. Gave us...

Best modem/router I've ever used. Set up with Xfinity was seamless. Works so fast. I haven't lost any speed even while streaming on 2 ps3s, a pc, & multiple iPhones connected.

Didn't want to rent a modem from the cable co but had to find a compatible one. The Netgear fit the bill Been working great so far

Modem was easy to set-up and seems to have great controls. Very good performance so far. This model was recommended above others for performance, and I am glad I took the salesman's advice. You get what you pay for.

What a great recommendation. Why did I wait so long to get rid of the leased one. Simple setup and much better speed with no video buffering Cut the cord.

This is by far my best router ever, super easy to setup and my internet speed is solid over 100 Mbps. I know is a little bit expensive but is worth every single penny.
