The truth is I don't know much about tech equipment but a lot about the frustration when it stops working. Recently the modem supplied by the broad band company would get really hot and then quit working until cooled or until I installed a fan to keep it cool. Exploring options, calling the company to replace or to buy and comparing the cost I decided to buy. With the excellent price from Best Buy, it will pay for itself in about 7 months. Then without the charges from the company for out dated equipment I will have better service with less cost. Good deal!

Much better than the one that came from the cable company. Fast, and almost never have to reboot it.

I've had it a month now and had no issues at all with it. The range is great and the speed is great. Takes the place of a rented modem from the cable company, and a router.

This router is working great, I'm an avid gamer. Haven't really noticed any lag. Also running multiple devices at once with no issues.

All you need is to contact your ISP and have them enable your modem, very easy to setup, excellent signal strength throughout the house.

Product is throwing exact speed what I subscribed for. Easy to use interface and installed very easily. Wish such products could have 8 slots instead of 4. Uninterrupted internet supply and replacement of true Comcast modem.

I use this as a modem in an Orbi mesh system. I have the Wi Fi turned off and use the Orbi in access point mode. That way I can seamlessly connect anywhere. When the Orbi I had died and I had to use the Wi Fi on the Nighthawk, I found very few dead spots in my 6500 sq ft house but that is a lot to ask of a cable modem that is on one end of a long ranch style. The signal did drop at the opposite end after traveling through 8 walls and lots of appliances, etc. I think that is extraordinary coverage. I would recommend this unit highly.

Very easy process. Plug and play. I had to call spectrum to activate, but only took me about 15 min from start to finish.

The modem/router is bing used in place of Xfinity equipment. It is actually reaching farther thant their equipment. It works fine, but if a I had it to do over, I would get DOCSIS 3.1 and at least wifi 6.

Great modem for new tv/internet service. Saves me about $20 a month rental fees. Easy hookup. Very reliable. Have used one in the past.

The modem handles 150-200 Mbps easily. Never intermittent. The range on the router is superb. I can be in my yard at the pool deck and still have great reception.

We bought this became we were told by Cox that our old separate router and modem were too old and that was probably the cause of our bad internet speed. Fast forward, the internet speed is just a bit better. Not sure if it is the cause of our router/modem. We also have a Netgear Extender. We had trouble getting it to recognize this new router/modem. We called Netgear. They make it clear their help is only for a limited time, but we did get them to address the extender issue. The female reps were helpful, but their thick accent made it a bit difficult to understand them. All-in-all a good product and support.

Held back by my service providers de-tuned surfboard modem I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this one, after doing quite a bit of research. The price is a little more than I wanted to spend but it has paid for itself already. We cut our cable cord quite some time ago and we 4 tvs, computers, phones and tablets constantly on the speeds I was paying for I was not getting....I get them and then some with this product. Installation was easy and I was up and running in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this product to anyone using service provider supplied hardware.

Had to replace the rental unit I had from the cable company. They couldn't provide me with one right away. so I decided to buy this one form Best Buy. The ordering process was easy and fast and was able to do a curb side pickup on the unit the same day !!!!!!! The unit was really easy to set up. Just had to plug in the cords provided, call the cable company to activate it, then set it up for my wi-fi . Glad I went with this. Will pay for itself in rental fees in less than 18 months.

Definite increase in speed on my wireless devices...(180Mbps) same as my wired Pc...Very happy, and happy with extended range of this device!!!

The device was easy set up and password protected. Rings multiple devices in my home with no issue. Product was on sell too!

I replaced the rented modem from Xfinity with NETGEAR and was easy to install and works so much better.

Can I just say this router/modem is awesome! It never drops signal. No issues ever! And it’s super fast.
