Setup was easy. Plugged in, called my ISP and was done. So far it has been reliable and works well.

Bought this to replace an outdated modem and WiFi router. It was easy to set up and get started and we haven’t had any issues getting coverage around the house.

This cable modem/router combo has been phenomenal. It has provided excellent speeds throughout the house (upstairs and downstairs). Slower speeds with WiFi as opposed to being hardwired via Ethernet which is normal.

I was very excited to get this to up my Internet. However I have Verizon and they will not allow another modem from outside they’re reach. So I had to return this. And I got the same exact thing from Verizon and have to rent it at $12 a month. It works great I’m sure the one that Best Buy sells would also work great. If you have a Verizon do not buy this

Was easy to setup once I had the right person on the phone from Comcast. Took us under 30 minutes whereas the first person I spoke with had me having a service call.

Very happy with this modem/router. The range extends the wifi throughout the house and garage while maintaining quick internet speeds with no lag. Just had the whole family over for thanksgiving with multiple devices connected to the internet and still experienced very fast speeds. The nighthawk had no trouble keeping the internet speeds quick by providing multiple internet lanes for all the internet devices to run smoothly. Very proud to show this device off and purchase future devices from Best Buy!

Was switching over from Uverse to Comcast so I wanted to buy my own modem/router rather than pay monthly rental charges to Comcast. This one looked like what I needed, even saying it supported Comcast. Brought it home and hooked it up, but couldn't get it to work. All the lights would light up momentarily but then go back to blinking. This cycle continued. Spent over an hour on chat with Comcast trying to get it activated. Finally they said they would have to send out one of their techs, but it would cost me $70 if the problem wasn't due to them. When the tech came out a couple of days later the first thing he did was hook up their Comcast router/modem and all the lights came on and stayed on. He said I had a bad router/modem, but said he wasn't going to charge me since he had only been there 5 minutes and the Comcast person on the chat should have been able to tell me that. So I took the router/modem back to Best Buy and got a replacement. Hooked it up and all the lights came on! Called in to activate the new router/modem and they couldn't get it to activate. Finally they realized that the problem was that they had the router/modem serial number and MAP address from the first router/modem. They changed it to the new router numbers and it seemed to work , but then I still wasn't able to get an internet connection. The SID showed up, but wouldn't take my password off the router. Comcast again said they would send out a tech at no charge, but I decided to wait and try some more things myself. Finally I hooked up my laptop to the router/modem directly through the ethernet connections. I was able to enter the password and everything connected! Everything has worked fine over the last week, but what a hassle!
