I've had this cable modem/router for close to 2 years now. It has only needed to be "re-booted" a couple of times. Amazing up-time. No problems connecting to Xfinity/Comcast cable box. I use all Roku TVs and the streaming is perfect. WiFi distance is good, but not great. Overall I would purchase again. Note: This does not have phone connection, so if you need a land line, you have to use a more expensive model.

I got this modem to replace the one I was leasing from Comcast. Setup was easy, though I did have to spend some time on the phone with Comcast so they could send an activation signal to the unit in order for it to start downloading and uploading packets. The Wifi signal is strong enough to reach all rooms of the house, including the basement. All in all, a good modem that get the job done well. My only real gripe is the price. I caught it during a decent sale, but mostly likely would not have gone with this unit at full price.

I’m COMCAST user and I’ve installed NETGEAR Nighthawk C7000-100NAS then I had experience about connection drop issue. The symptom was I got connection lost few seconds almost once per hour, then return to normal. I googled and found several users had same issue with this model. For my case, I changed MTU from 1500 to 1490 then the issue was fixed.

Never had any issues and works great for Comcast Xfinity. Range is good as well. Would purchase again.
