We replaced an aging router and modem with the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. Had it up and running in a few minutes. Flawless performance since installation.

Does what you need. Quicker speeds. Mine goes farther now. But make sure you turn off all the wifis that thing puts out. Don't need to be blasted with those 24/7. I just use the 2.4 Ghz and turned of the 5g. I don't know about y'all, but 5g sounds a little too strong to be around all day. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows? Someone probably does.

The good- it's fast and has plenty of reach and Ethernet ports. Speeds are ridiculously fast with Xfinity Comcast on 5G. Keeps up with my smart home too which almost my entire home is automated. The bad- not able to use the nighthawk app for it. I was told by a salesman that I definitely could but no, this router doesn't support it. I really wanted a function to geofence my wifi as well but there is no ability with this. I want to be able to remotely turn it on and off but again, no. Can't do it.

Excellent item good product easy to set up for small place

Easy to set up. Coverage in my full house...old house with thick walls. I set it up and it works. Well worth the extra money if you have thick walls in an old home and Uverse can't get through. This unit and switching to Comcast did the trick for me. Hope you have good luck as well.

I used a NETGEAR modem router prior to the C7000 and was happy with it. It just had a couple weak spots in the house so I decided to give this updated model a try. It eliminated all dead zones without the need for boosters all over the place. Also, very easy to get set up using xfinity internet service. This is hands down the fastest modem router available at this time. You will be pleased with its performance.

Me: My gateway keeps rebooting. Xfinity: You're gateway is from 2018 and needs to be replaced. 24 hours and a trip to the Comcast Service Center later. Me: I just picked up a new gateway and it won’t activate online. Xfinity: You’re gateway is from 2015 and needs to be replaced. Had Netgear connected and activated in less than 30 minutes. Finally getting the 350Mbps I’m paying for and my WiFi Connection’s are much faster with better range.

We needed something that would be compatible with Comcast Xfinity and this was it! This was even on sale! Our Motorola croaked and this was a great not to mention much faster upgrade. Highly recommend it. They even have passwords for the device that you can remember instead of a 26 character password that takes 10 minutes to type in for every device you want to connect. What a novel idea!

Super easy set-up, great range and no more restarts.

If you have Comcast (Xfinity) and you're wanting to ditch the monthly equipment rental fee, this is for you. It's decently fast so you're a little future proofed. It is rated for up to 960 MBPS. Just be sure you follow the directions explicitly when setting it up. Totally worth it, glad we purchased it ... and SO MUCH better than the old one we were renting.

I bought a new Router to work better with my Xfinity account. I have increased my speed and this router handles the increase with no problems. No more lag time. I love the fact that you can have 2 different bands to use on TVs, home devices, etc. and still maintain the separate band for computing to keep the speed lightning fast.

This actually works like it should, I have been using the xfinity modem they supplied and the signal was in and out all the time and for 10.00 a month that isn't cutting it to lease it. So I purchased this and set it up in 10 minutes and my speeds have been steady and constant and I don't have drop outs anymore either. Wifi tests at 124-125mbps. Best decision I could have made. Beware it is pricey however it is well worth it. My plan is the extreme 105

This router was easy to set up and works great with our Xfinity cable internet. Recommended for everyone from beginner to advanced user. After using it for two weeks it has been dependable and capable. Buy this instead of renting a gateway from the internet provider and save money in the long run.

Very good signal and great for streaming. Can run multiple devices effortlessly. I bought one for my house several months ago and was so impressed that when my daughters modem-router broke I bought the same one for her. Much cheaper than renting from the cable company. Very high speeds, first channel. A great unit!

Excellent product. I would completely recommend it and most Netgear products. The setup was fairly simple and customer service is excellent and extremely efficient.

Nothing wrong with the unit; It was my ignorance in installing it.

So far so good. It took me a while to get it up and running but I did it without calling Xfinity. Router is on the first floor, but I get a good signal from the basement. Time will tell, if it makes it past a year I will be money ahead. So far I’m glad I bought it. Should have done it years sooner.

I was skeptical getting another Netgear product since my last one constantly overheated and crashed, however glad I got it. It is outstanding so far. Easy to setup, easy to use and has excellent user interface. Router is fast and has quite a bit stronger WiFi signal than my previous one. Well worth the money.
