I got tired of paying Comcast $14/month for their cable modem/wireless router. So I went to Best Buy and the sales associate their showed me exactly what I needed to replace the Comcast equipment. I purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 device about a month ago and it has been working like a charm. And the installation and setup were a breeze. It has more features (like 5GHz and 2.4GHz dual bands) than the old and overpriced Comcast cable modem/wireless router. I'll be able to recoup my costs in well under a year. I would definitely recommend everyone stop paying Comcast a monthly rental fee for outdated and crappy equipment and purchase this (or a similar) product.

I have been renting the modem from Xfinity for the last 3 years, got tired of paying the renting fee for $14 each month. I found the Netgear Nighhawk AC1900 modem/router combo on sales this week at Best Buy, so I bought it. It was easy to install, all I have to do was to follow the instructions from the manual came with the modem. After I got the modem online, I called Xfinity for activation, all done in 15 minutes. The new modem gives me much better internet speed than the modem I rented from Xfinity, this made me very happy. If you are thinking about changing the modem/router, I recommend AC1900 Nighthawk Model C70002v.

Great modem with fast internet speed. Would definitely recommend. We had an older model and needed to upgrade to support all devices in house hold.

Works well, seems like there's no more dead spots compared to previous gateway (a Netgear N600) . Certainly a lot less buffering. Now we can get to the data cap faster, lol.

This product is very easy to set up. You follow the steps, which is basically, unpack, plug in, and then call your provider to authorize. (some providers will even allow authorization online). And your done. Simple as that. Great speed.

I was looking for ways to start cutting cost then one day I realized I was paying for a home phone and cable modem box and really didn't need either one anymore. Hole phones went to cell phone and removal of the cable box allowed me to turn in the cable modem. It was so simple to install basically hooked up and called Timewarner. 20 mins up and running. Best part I had old "n" wireless now I have "ac" so out speeds at the house tripled.. Also for some reason Timewarner is not able to rate limit so I am getting 75 Meg download speeds and 8 Meg upload.. Huge bonus!!! All in all this box will pay for its self in 6 months... Very happy!!!

Had this for almost 2 months now. Was easy enough to set up. I am a medical student and I live alone, and this provides more than enough speed for my needs including streaming.

My old Netgear went out on us, so we needed a replacement FAST! This was all our local BB had to offer. bought it, set it up, & i wish we bought it sooner. Super fast connection. no lagging. great price. would recommend to Xfinity internet users

Installation: Installation is very easy. With Technology in this generation, all you will need is a smart phone. Instructions and Manuals were easy to understand and you will have your cable and wifi less than 5 minutes. Signal: Signal is amazing! Price may not be that wonderful but you will not be disappointed once you have this product. I live in a one bedroom one bathroom with 7 devices (2 iPhones, 2 MacBooks, 2 iPads, and an Apple TV) and not once has there been a sign of the signal slowing down. Whether you are in your living room, bedroom, bathroom, and outside, it still works amazingly. Pros: Installation | Signal | Mobile App | 2 in 1 Cable Modem and WiFi Router. Cons: Vertical Standing only. Unable to lay down Horizontally.

Blazing speeds, fast setup and works excellent with Xfinity

This product has worked very well since I brought it. I like this brand its a reliable brand.

Switched over from the rented Comcast modem to this one and it works great throughout my apartment. Easy to install as well. If you have a larger home would recommend adding up a WiFi extender to give you the best coverage.

Easy to install. Notice improvement immediately. Best advice - you most likely will need to contact your internet provider. For example, Cox does not update their acceptable list.

This cable modem/router combination was easy to setup, is very fast, and has been very stable...no dropouts! Excellent product...and it cuts $10.00 per month off my TWC bill by not paying their monthly fee for their equipment.

I have had Netgear product before and this one doesn’t disappoint either. Easy to set up. Didn’t even need to call Xfinity to register my device Would like to see more filtering options for built in FW perspective but overall great router and covers my entire townhome.

I was constantly being told by my cable provider to upgrade my modem. I finally decided to and purchased the Netgear router. I'm very glad I did, extremely fast and easy to set up.

Purchased the Nighthawk router and very happy I did. Installation was simple and so were instructions, worked just fine immediately and has been trouble free. Product was as advertised.
